If you check out Andro400’s webpage, you’ll see listed 17 benefits of “youthful testosterone levels”:
- More energy and stamina
- Reduced body fat–especially in the belly area
- Increased libido and enhanced sexual performance
So on and so forth… 17 benefits associated with increasing your T levels. So does that mean that Andro400 is claiming 17 benefits with it’s T-boosting formula? In a backwards way, they are–although, technically, on a technical level, that’s not the technical case… technically.
But let’s get real: That’s exactly what’s going on here.
Let’s see if their one ingredient, Tongkat Ali, can manage the hype.
Manufactured by the mysterious Natural Health Concepts, Andro400 is the self-described “leader among natural testosterone boosters” since 2004. Do you believe that? It’s a bold title for a “formula” that supplies only one ingredient: Tongkat Ali. Formula notes:
- Tongkat Ali: The only ingredient in this formula is a decent T-booster, but an even decenter sex-enhancer for both men & women.
- Two Options: This review covers Andro400, but there is another “Max” option that adds to the Andro400 design with two additional N.O. boosters.
- Questionable Ads: The #1 Natural Testosterone Booster? We find that claim… well, doubtful.

Andro400 is a one-ingredient “formula” (if you can call that a “formula”).
Andro400 is Eurycoma Longifolia… That’s all it is.
So that’s how you need to think of this product, especially when comparing it with other products. In other words, don’t rank Andro400 in line with other ballsy T-boosters. Look at it as another source of Eurycoma Longifolia and ask yourself if it’s better than other Eurycoma Longifolia products or at least cheaper (SPOILER ALERT: It’s not).
Regardless, let’s see what the science says on this herb:
Eurycoma Longifolia, 150 mg
If Andro400 had to choose one ingredient to Melt Belly Fat, Gain Energy, & Increase Sex Drive, then Eurycoma Longifolia (or Tongkat Ali) isn’t a bad choice—although, we wouldn’t pin this herb down as a “fat-burner” by any means.
Historically, Tongkat Ali has been used to increase libido among the natives of South Eastern Asia. It wasn’t until recent times that the plant start entering the supplement scene of the Western world—namely due to the Malaysian governments extensive research into the prized herbs “testosterone boosting” capabilities. And guess what:
- Tongkat Ali does boost T. Some research showing an average increase in T by 37%, as well as a decrease in stress hormone cortisol by 16%.
Mechanically, Tongkat Ali seems to work by regulating:
- DHEA. Precursor to testosterone.
- Aromatase. Converts T to estrogen.
- Luteinizing Hormone. Signals T-synthesis.
- Cortisol. Stress hormone that affects general well-being.
Combined, these effects do seem to promote energy levels & sex drive, but to say that they also “melt belly fat” is a stretch of the imagination (although not entirely implausible—if you replace the Dr. Ozzian word “melt” with something more realistic).
If Andro400 is a Eurycoma Longifolia product, then how does its Eurycoma Longifolia check out—especially compared with other Eurycoma products on the market? It checks out aight, thanks to these key advantages:
- 100:1 Extract. This is the recommended extract for optimum TA results.
- 300 mg Dosage. Ideally, you’ll aim a little higher than this, but compared to other Tongkat Ali products, this is about average.
By no means is Tongkat Ali a major T-booster—you’ll see plenty of ingredients ranked higher than TA on our BIG LIST of T-Boosters—but it’s clinically backed, which is more than we can say about many multi-ingredient formulas.
Even so, we’re sort of scratching our head with this “formula.” Namely because of the way it’s advertised. On Andro400, you’ll see plenty of copy dedicated to the merits of testosterone, as well as a number of scientific resources (many of which don’t necessarily link TA with increased T), topped with the bold claim: Since 2004, the #1 Natural Testosterone Booster! But most of this seems to wildly exaggerate the benefits of Tongkat Ali by misassociating its potential T-boosting benefits with the bio-effects of T.
It simply doesn’t work that way: A may lead to B and B may lead to C, but that doesn’t justify the claim that “A leads to C.”
This sentiment seems to be shared by many users who claim that Andro400 didn’t do anything for them—or at least it didn’t do what it was advertised to do.
In Conclusion: Andro400 may help with various aspects of T & energy, but we wouldn’t qualify it as a true performance-enhancer or fat-burner as the ads would lead you to believe. At best, it’s a slightly overpriced sex-enhancer with modest T-boosting abilities.
With products such as Andro400, the claimed benefits are easy to spot, because they’re practically used as the supplement’s tagline. The benefits claimed here are:
- Melt Belly Fat
- Gain Energy
- Increase Sex Drive
That first “benefit” should serve as a RED flag because it’s A) Not true, and B) One of the tell-tale signs of too-good-to-be-true product. At this point it should be understood that nothing “melts” belly fat. Yet, even if we’re to take the underlying meaning of that phrase (“Andro400 helps with fat loss”), it’s still not true.
Testosterone helps decrease abdominal fat. Tongkat Ali helps modestly increase testosterone. But Tongkat Ali’s particular bio-mechanisms don’t seem to aid with decrease belly fat. Yet, the energy & sex drive claims seem to hold true.
Who Takes It?
40+ Year Old Men & Women. Tongkat Ali has a stronger association with male health (hence the moniker “Stick of Man”), but women may benefit from this herb as well. Andro400’s ad states that “Younger men in their 20’s and 30’s” most often use this T-booster, but that’s not true. TA’s research suggests that it only helps the T levels of mature men, so the younger doods would do better to look elsewhere.
Any Side Effects?
Nope. None reported and we wouldn’t expect any from this safe, one-ingredient formula. Even if you were to add another capsule or two to your daily intake over a long period of time, you’d be running a very low risk of side effect.
- Tongkat Ali. The one ingredient is a decent T-booster.
- Quality Extract. This 100:1 extract is some potent-ass shtuff.
- Simple? We’re reaching for another “Pro” here.
- One Ingredient. This isn’t a formula. It’s Tongkat Ali.
- Questionable Ads. The advertisements stretch the truth too often.
- Auto-Ship Program. See the Pricing section below for more info.
Pricing & Buying Info
- Auto-Ship Special: $29.95/monthly
- 1 Bottle (1 month): $34.95
- 3 Bottles (3 months): $89.00
- 6 Bottles (6 months): $159.00
- 12 Bottles (12 months): $259.00
- Available online and in retail stores
Which is the best option? Good question… Here’s the thing with Andro400: If you like the product, then the bulk 12 bottle pack is the way to go—in the long run you’ll be saving $160. We understand why users would go for the “Auto-Ship Special” which automatically sends a bottle per month for a discounted $29.95/monthly. Yet, when we hear “Auto-Ship”, we hear “scam”—because the auto-ship is a classic scam tactic in the supplement industry. And from the sound of it, some users who didn’t even purchase the “Auto-Ship Special” were still signed up for it and found the program difficult to escape (again: SCAM). Long story short: Go bulk, but take caution with your credit card info.
Final Word on Andro400
Gun to our heads, held by a lunatic psychopath who (for whatever reason) wants us to buy an Andro400 product, we’d choose the Andro400 Max. It actually qualifies as a “formula” for including N.O. boosters (which help sex & performance) on top of Tongkat Ali. However, without the gun threatening our lives, we’d probably opt for one of these BEST for TEST boosters instead. They seem to actually accomplish the benefits purported by these manufacturers.
