About Nolvadren XT
Manufactured by M.A.N. Sports Nutrition, Nolvadren XT is a Post-Cycle Therapy (PCT) T-booster. They can’t say it, so we will: This product may be designed to maintain T levels after cycling anabolic steroids and prohormones. Apart from boosting T, Nolvadren XT also inhibits estrogen & cortisol, staving off hormone health issues during post-cycle conditions. Formula notes:
- Androgens Galore: Enhanced T, decreased estrogen, & reduced cortisol levels make for some manly handsome muscle gains.
- Industrial Strength: Proceed with caution, Bro… this stack is more intense than your typical T-booster supplement.
- 4-Week Cycle: These ingredients are potent and require only 4-week supplementation at a time… or else… *dot. dot. dot.*

Nolvadren XT is an Industrial-Strength T Formulation.
But interesting to see that most of these ingredients are only FDA approved for treating female fertility and post-menopausal conditions… However, this has become a growing trend among prohormone cyclers at risk of abnormal, catabolic hormone levels.
Disclaimer: Steroids are BAD, mmmkay?
Nolvadren XT is hardcore stuff for hardcore users doing hardcore things to their hormones to get hardcore results. Is there a place for a formula like Novadren’s? Absolutely. But keep in mind, this is no entry-level T-booster formula. If you want a more straight-up “intense training T-booster” we suggest TestoFuel or one of our other Best 5 test formulas.
Let’s see how Nolvadren’s prohormone-oriented formula stacks up:
Test-Estro Modulator (Androsta-3, 5-Diene-7, 17-Dione)
Androsta-3, 5-Diene-7, 17-Dione, more commonly known as Arimistane, is a “subtle steroid” substitute for the potent, banned 1,4,6-Androstatriene-3, 17-Dione.
Popularly utilized in PCT products, Arimistane is believed to significantly decrease estrogen, in turn boosting testosterone for leaner muscle gains. Although the substance is supported by zero ncbi studies, its anecdotal evidence suggests that it’s a powerful aromatase inhibitor & cortisol reducer.
Due to its potency, Arimistane must be cycled for 4 weeks—ideally 75 mg for Week 1, 50 mg for Weeks 2-3, 25 mg for Week 4… Nolvadren XT offers a flat 75 mg Arimistane here.
Estro-Metabolize (Diindolylmethane)
Diindolylmethane (DIM) has been making rounds in both PCTs and “natural” T-boosters as a purported “anti-estrogen” agent. Yet, on our Best5 BIG LIST of T-Boosters we rank this cruciferous vegetable compound as a “T-Booster to Avoid” for two main reasons:
- DIM is used primarily to aid female health under post-menopausal
- Some conflicted animal research suggests that DIM might actually decrease T levels, along with other male sex hormones.
Even so, plenty of users with conditions of gynecomastia, abnormally low T, & aggression have reported beneficial outcomes after using products containing DIM… We’re just hesitant to give it the “green light” for everyone else.
Cort-Control Matrix
For direct cortisol control, Nolvadren XT goes with two metabolites of Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which works as a natural anti-glucocorticoid (i.e. anti-stress agent) and a candidate for steroid replacement therapy. The body uses this steroid hormone to synthesize T (and estrogen), making it a risky T-booster. Yet, it enables (free) T by unbinding testosterone from the T-killer hormone SHBG, resulting in slight T raises.
Unfortunately, similar to DIM, these T effects were most apparent in post-menopausal women and elderly populations… What’s more, it’s banned for use in sport as an “Anabolic Agent.” Overall, DHEA is another T-booster to avoid, considering the number of substances that can do what it does with a much higher legal & safety profile.
Formula Analysis
Nolvadren XT is somewhat of a deviation from the “natural” T-boosting products that we normally review. This is because the self-proclaimed “Leader in Sports Nutrition & Supplements” M.A.N. Sports Nutrition isn’t giving us an “Earth-grown” T-booster, so much as a lab-derived PCT product.
As such Nolvadren XT is billed as an “Advanced Hormone Modulator,” making it much more potent than a natural T-booster—which is why its usage is limited to a 4 week cycle.
The hormone modulators they go with are:
- Arimistane – for aromatase inhibition, optimized T:Estrogen levels.
- DIM – for more estrogen inhibition.
- DHEA – for increased T-synthesis & higher free T levels.
In typical Best5 terms, these are all prohormone substances we generally advise against. But if a 4-week PCT product matches your intended goal, then sure, these ingredients will get the job done for you. And given the nature of prohormones, dosage & frequency of use are key to avoid their undesirable side effects.
With that in mind, 4 weeks is appropriate and the dosages supplied are adequate—if anything, the DHEA is a little on the lower side… But it’s still enough here to have an effect.
Users of Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) may gravitate towards Nolvadren XT for its less potent, yet effective prohormone PCT benefits, while consumers looking to sustain long-term, safe T levels should approach this formula with caution… or not at all.
Nolvadren XT Benefits
Nolvadren XT’s design is intended to “promote a Leaner, Harder, Dryer, Looking Physique” (the misplaced comma is on them, not us—unless a “Looking Physique” is something new, in which case WE WANT IT). These benefits are achieved through:
- Increased Free T Levels
- Reduced Estrogen Levels
- Enhanced Cortisol Control
Essentially, Nolvadren XT creates a quick anabolic male-driven hormone status for post-cycle users at risk of low testosterone levels & man-boobs.
But, you know what… man-boobs are still boobs, right? Is they really that bad?
Who Takes It?
HARDCORE Bodybuilders. Specifically HARDCORE bodybuilders who are curbing the testosterone crash that follows an intense exercise/prohormone cycle. With that in mind, this isn’t a T-booster designed for healthy, uncompromised men looking to boost all-around, long-term T levels.
Any Side Effects?
If you adhere to the dosages & directions supplied by Nolvadren XT, then you should be fine. Deviating from directions can lead to adverse effects, such as:
- Abnormal sex hormone levels
- Estradiol-deficient bone loss
- Aggression, Irratibility
- Uncomfortable joint “dryness”
This last point seems to have been the most reoccurring side effect reported with Nolvadren XT. And take special note that this prohormone supplement is particularly designed for Men. Here’s the Nolvadren label warning:

Final Word on Nolvadren XT
While prohormones aren’t necessarily our Best5 cup of tea (or box of… capsules?), Nolvadren XT makes sense in a PCT context. We stand by our stance that these “T-boosters” are best to avoid for most T-booster consumers. However, for the BIG homies who endure intense prohormone cycles, Nolvadren XT seems right down your alley.
