TestoFuel vs. Nugenix Ultimate Testosterone is the supplement equivalent of a one-on-one between today’s Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan.
New School vs. Old School. Fresh vs. Ripe.
Like Curry, TestoFuel appeals to the new generation—the young bodybuilding T-boosters—while Nugenix moves towards a more mature male-health enthusiasm.
If we’re to be swayed by hype-talk, then we’re to believe that the youngest warrior can always take on the oldest and wisest… Is there any truth to this sentiment?
Let’s find out, as 2 of our Best 5 Testosterone-Booster Supplements face off in the ring…

Round 1: Formulas
Both TestoFuel and Nugenix make similar claims of increased testosterone, muscle, strength, and libido. But the demographics they’re reaching for are spaced by a large gap in maturity.
TestoFuel targets Young Bodybuilding.
TestoFuel hits hard and early with 3 of our Best5 T-Boosters—DAA, D3, and Zinc.
On top of a heavy DAA + D3 stack, TestoFuel sets itself up as a young bodybuilder’s formula with a decent “Sports Nutritional” ZMA combo and legendary man-herbs Panax Ginseng & Fenugreek. Toss in a little Oyster Extract and the formula consists of 9 solid muscle-building, performance-enhancing ingredients.
All-in-all, every component of this formula works towards promoting T-healthy strength gains. And we’ve yet to mention TestoFuel’s Fenugreeky effects on your sexual libido.
Alright, alright, alright.
Nugenix targets Age-Related T-Decline.
Nugenix Ultimate Testosterone also has 3 Best5 T-Boosters: DAA, Mucuna Pruriens, Boron—in contrast to TestoFuel’s DAA, D3, and Zinc.
From the get-go, Nugenix looks like a mature supplement: Mucuna Pruriens’ T-boosting primarily affects older men with low sperm counts. Additionally, the legendary sex-enhancers Epimedium, Maca Root, & Tongkat Ali are popular libido-enhancers/boner-poppers for the older gents.
Nugenix lacks Zinc (unfortunately), but makes up for it by pushing in even more DAA and more quality, standardized herbs—culminating in an efficient spread of 8 purposeful ingredients.
In conclusion of the first round, both formulas look equally promising, but for different reasons.
However, if we have to pick a winner: TestoFuel gains the edge by designing a more direct T-boosting formula. Nugenix definitely boosts testosterone, but spends a considerable side-effort in boosting boners (not that that’s a bad thing).
Round 1… TestoFuel Wins.
Round 2: Dosages
Before we start this round, let’s tip our hats to both fighters for steering clear from one of the Deadliest Supplement Sins: Proprietary Blend Labeling.
Thanks to this, we can actually assess every ingredient dosage in the ring—starting with the most important: DAA.
Both supplements have it, and both have a lot of it. Unfortunately, this comes at a cost to other ingredient dosages, namely for the formulas’ Fenugreek. However, with one less ingredient in the mix, Nugenix is able to cram in more DAA & Fenugreek than TestoFuel.
Despite the variety of ingredients between these two supplements, Nugenix’s vast increase in DAA & Fenugreek results in more T-boosting and more sex-enhancing than TestoFuel.
Round 2… Nugenix Wins.
Round 3: Ingredient Quality
Again, we’re back to DAA (Are you getting sick of these 3 letters yet?). Both supplements offer DAA in its inferior, plain form (D-AA-CC is better)—although, DAA still provides more-than-adequate T-boosting.
Since TestoFuel’s and Nugenix’s primary ingredient is in the same condition, we’re sort of at a standstill here… Until you look at the quality of their herbs:
- TestoFuel has no standardized herbs.
- Nugenix has 2 standardized herbs PLUS 2 high-potency herbal extracts.
Nugenix reveals its maturity again by opting for the more expensive, yet higher quality for many of its ingredients. You can take that as a show of wisdom.
It’s worth noting that TestoFuel’s Vitamin D (our #4 Best5 T-Booster) is in top-shape. But Nugenix’s ingredient roster still has an all-around cleaner shine.
Round 3… Nugenix Wins.
Round 4: Price
TestoFuel | VS. | Nugenix | ||
1 Bottle (30-day supply) | $65.00 | 1 Bottle (30-day supply) | $89.99
Price Per Capsule | $0.54 | Price Per Capsule | $0.75
Price Per Serving | $2.17 | Price Per Serving | $3.00 |
Round 4… TestoFuel Wins.
Round 5: JUDGEMENT
If you look at our reviews on TestoFuel and Nugenix, you’ll have to squint to see the difference in their star ratings. Both are refined T-Boosting stacks, but Nugenix has a slight star smidgeon over TestoFuel:
- We’re talking 4.3 (TestoFuel) vs. 4.7 (Nugenix) out of 5 stars.
That’s a close fight between two of our Best 5 Testosterone Supplements.
However, the final difference in their performances comes down to your personal needs: Are you a young buck looking to bulk or a wise gent looking to rebuild?
At the end of the day, when you ask yourself What’s more important?, the choice you make is personal.
For us, we have to look at the BIG picture. And the BIG picture looks like an older man who still holds his own in the ring (or the court—We all know MJ would kick Curry’s ass).
In the TestoFuel vs. Nugenix fight, the winner by a SPLIT Decision is…

What if your older(40+), but want to add muscle mass with a already built body(not rebuilding from no to some muscle or exercise in past years)?
According to this article research – young age =Testoful(because have a build or easier because younger) and Nugenix = older age(looking to rebuild, which to me means older men looking to get back into it from past years or starting at an older age)
I feel I am older but with a great shape before I took a testosterone supplement to gain muscle mass. Therefor I chose Testofuel.
My point – younger not always = Testofuel and older = Nugenix. Article seems to LEAN this way(not saying definite) but seems a little of a catch 22 in words or explanation.
Basically with some personal factors/indicators being between the 2 descriptions for taking either the 2 supplements, which one, in my position, would be most beneficial?
