“Clinical” should raise red flags when it comes to reviewing a supplement.
One Boost makes claims on “clinical” results.
Yet, the supplement covers its ass by specifying what those clinical results are. Whereas most supplements simply slap the word “Clinical” on their products with no rhyme or reason, One Boost at least points to the clinical research underlying its claim.
The only problem: The research only pertains to one of One Boost’s boosters.
Perhaps that’s what they mean by One Boost? But what about the 18 other boosts in this male enhancement testosterone booster? Let’s check them out in the review.
About One Boost Male Enhancement
One Boost is a male enhancement product that sells itself on one particular booster: Tongkat ali — a manly Malaysian treasure with bona fide research to back it up. However, don’t be fooled — that isn’t the only booster in this supplement. In fact, it’s only one of 19. Formula notes:
- Non-Proprietary: One Boost supplies six non-proprietary ingredients — a couple being prime test boosters, the rest being solid male performance enhancers.
- Proprietary: The remaining 13 ingredients are hidden in the formula’s proprietary blend, which is a bummer for two reasons: A) the individual ingredient dosages are hidden, and B) the overall blend dosage is questionable.
- Affordable: Love it or hate it, One Boost is at least worth the consideration for its small price tag. Depending on where you buy it, One Boost may be either cheap or very cheap.

One Boost stacks nineteen proprietary and non-proprietary ingredients in a small two tablet serving.
Which raises a number of questions: Why are only some of the ingredients proprietary? What the hell are those ingredients’ dosages?
Why isn’t One Boost instead called Nineteen Boosts??
All those questions and more will be answered after we cover the supplement’s ingredients:
One Boost Male Enhancement Ingredients
Of the 19 total ingredients, six are non-proprietary, including:
Zinc Oxide – The #2 ingredient on our BIG List of T-Boosters and the manliest mineral on the male enhancement market, Zinc is a great idea for increasing testosterone status as well as maintaining strength gains among the mineral sweating athletes.
Maca Root (0.6% extract) – The extract is interesting: most maca supplements come in plain powder. Maca is great for male vitality, physical and sexual prowess. Oddly, it doesn’t seem to do anything for male hormones, so how it works remains a mystery.
L-Arginine HCl – A popular N.O. boosting amino, great for PWO performance and erectile function. May indirectly support male hormone expression via increased circulation.
Panax ginseng Root Extract – The Yin-yang herb for its simultaneous benefits on energy and relaxation. Some elusive research suggests Panax may optimize male hormone status, although we’ve yet to see more convincing evidence of this.
Eleutherococcus senticosus Root Powder – Often studied for its ergogenic potential, Eleuthero (or Siberian ginseng, despite not being a true ginseng) is great for vitality, mental clarity, and energy. Its reputation for sports performance remains overwhelmingly anecdotal.
Not a bad roster of ingredients …but the party doesn’t stop there. The majority of One Boost’s formula is found in the proprietary blend.
One Boost was doing pretty well with its base ingredients. Why it decided to hide the rest of its formula beneath this proprietary blend is beyond us. What’s even stranger is how One Boost formulated this blend.
For one: The dosage is meh — 838 mg is not enough milligrams to cover 13 natural ingredients, even if many of the herbs come in enhanced extract forms.
For two: The ingredients are meh — most notably Sarsaparilla, Cayenne, and Licorice, of which the latter may actually diminish testosterone status while increasing stress hormone cortisol.
Perhaps there’s a method to this madness. And perhaps this method is actually super awesome, which is why One Boost is keeping it proprietary. With male healthy ingredients such as Pumpkin Seed, Muira Puama Bark Oat Straw, Stinging Nettle Leaf, and (hell YES) Boron, it’s not entirely impossible. Although, frankly, it doesn’t seem very plausible either considering the low dosage.
Even if One Boost was onto something special with this proprietary blend, it’s unlikely to achieve much with only 838 milligrams to cover this many hidden ingredients.
One Boost for male enhancement in a two tablet stack of 19 ingredients.
The first question that needs to be addressed: Is this enough?
And by “this” I mean the two tablet serving size. Looking strictly at the non-proprietary ingredients, the answer seems to be: “Yes!” — given that two ingredients are dosed at 500 mg (Tongkat ali and L-Arginine), which isn’t too shabby, and the Zinc is sitting on a fat 50 mg. (15 to 30 mg would have sufficed.)
However, when we dive into the proprietary blend, the answer reverts to a resounding: “No!”
Per ingredient, the proprietary blend’s 838 mg dosage allows for a potential average of 64.5 mg. For dosage demanding ingredients such as Oat Straw, Stinging Nettle, Tribulus, and really all of the herbal test boosters in this blend, this dosage simply won’t cut it.
If it weren’t for the huge Zinc dosage, we’d perhaps recommend doubling the daily intake to four tablets …but that doesn’t seem to be a viable option here.
Regardless, One Boost seems to qualify as a decent herbal libido enhancer, even despite the inconsistent ingredient dosages.
One Boost Male Enhancement Benefits
One Boost focuses primarily on only one of its boosters in its description, citing Tongkat Ali as the formula’s leading active ingredient and thus mapping its benefit claims after this herb’s clinically explored bio-benefits, including: “37% increase in testosterone levels.” (study)
It’s important to note that the study in question observed “moderately stressed subjects” (32 men and 31 women), and thus can’t be presumed to significantly benefit not stressed users. Even so, One Boost supplies more boosts than just this one, so we find it reasonable to tack on other potential measures of male health and vitality to this male enhancement supplement.
Who Takes It?
Men, possibly women. One Boost emphasizes that this is a male enhancement product for men …yet, these ingredients may also benefit female enhancement as well. At the least, the Tongkat ali seems to suggest as much.
Any Side Effects?
None reported. On the contrary, the Amazon customer reviews are generally positive, whereas the negative reviews simply report there being no effects — which, we suppose, is better than side effects. While some of the reviews come across as shady and manipulative (e.g., “My husband loves this stuff”), we feel there’d be at least a mention of adverse results given the apparent popularity of this supplement.

Final Word on One Boost Male Enhancement
One Boost displays both the good and the bad of male enhancement supplements, but fortunately the goods seem to outweigh the bads — and even if you’re unsure of that review statement, the low price should certainly help your buying decision. Of the best test boosters in 2017, One Boost isn’t quite there. But it’s solid for reasonably priced physical and sexual performance enhancement.
