We’ve found the true king-of-the-hill testosterone booster.
And it’s name: Alpha King.
How do we know that they’re the true king of the testosterone boosting hill? Because they’ve called themselves Alpha King — what else do you need to know? …What’s that you say? You say we’re being naive? You say we shouldn’t take these supplements at face value? That we’re shit supplement reviewers??
Well, who the hell are you! Fine, we’ll dethrone Alpha King from the top spot, give it a full, detailed review and analysis. See if it’s earned the title “alpha king” or if that’s all BS. So, let’s read the Alpha King review.
About Force Factor Alpha King
Force Factor is back at it again with Alpha King, the manufacturer’s self-proclaimed “strongest male vitality supplement to date…” And Force Factor is a huge supplement company, so this is a huge claim. But does it stand the Best5 review test?? Formula notes:
- AlphaFen: Alpha King sticks with an impressive Fenugreek extract brand that may assist with testosterone status, as well as muscle recovery and sex performance.
- Plant Power: The remaining ingredients stick with Alpha King’s all natural, all herbal design, stacking up either plain powder herbs or herbal compounds.
- Crappy Caps: Although, the junky capsules and “Other Ingredients” diminish Alpha King’s “organic” status with shittay colorants and additives.

Alpha King has perhaps the manliest supplement name in the game. However, the same can’t be said for its formula.
Our first impression on the Supplement Facts: Where are the testosterone boosters??
Sure, Fenugreek may help with test status, but for a supplement called Alpha King we were hoping for some BIG time test boosters. Something more along the lines of D-Aspartic Acid, Zinc, Mucuna Pruriens… No matter. We’ll make do with what Alpha King brings us. Let’s check out the ingredients one-by-one to see if there’s something special we’re missing here.
Alpha King Review: Ingredients
Fenugreek Extract (as AlphaFen®) – This ergogenic aid may assist with testosterone status by freeing up SHBG-bound test and inhibiting testosterone’s conversion to DHT. Alpha King sticks with a standardized AlphaFen Fenugreek brand, which is nice. (Although, we’d like to know the % standardization.)
Tribulus Terrestris – Seems like every testosterone booster supplement carries Tribulus these days. Which is odd, considering that Tribulus doesn’t seem to actually help testosterone status. Instead, it boosts sex, libido, and energy.
Black Maca Root Extract – Ditto for Maca, although this premium herb is a rarer sight than Tribulus. Maca seems to assist with male health, stamina, strength, energy, mood …but not testosterone.
Diindolylmethane (DIM) – Sourced from cruciferous vegetables, DIM may improve testosterone status by inhibiting aromatase, the enzyme responsible for converting test to estrogen.
Alpha King sells itself as an exceptional “alpha” level testosterone booster but amounts to a less than “run-of-the-mill” male health enhancer. And it achieves this sub-par rating by stacking average male health ingredients and providing them in a cheap, somewhat junky format.
However, before we dive into the negatives, let’s cover what’s good about this formula:
- AlphaFen – solid brand choice of Fenugreek extract.
- Maca Extract – many supplements supply plain Maca; Alpha King gives us extract.
And you may even find value in the Tribulus and DIM ingredients for their potential improvements on male health. Yet, their values are hamstrung by the most apparent negative of this formula: the dosages.
They’re not too great.
AlphaFen’s 400 mg might just make the cut, especially given the herb’s enhanced potency form. But the plain Tribulus’ 150 mg definitely won’t work. And we’re not all that confident of the 100 mg dosages for Maca extract and DIM either. So, you may need to double down on your daily intake with this supplement, essentially doubling the product’s price.
Speaking of price, we’re wondering why Alpha King sells itself at such a premium price, given the poor quality of its capsules. The Alpha King caps are covered in crappy FD&C colors and additives. Not exactly the premium quality you’d expect from a premium priced supplement.
Alpha King Benefits
Alpha King promises the following health benefits:
- Build Lean Muscle
- Boost Sex Drive & Libido
- Improve Performance
Given the chosen ingredients, these claims are actually fairly reasonable. Fenugreek and Tribulus do reliably improve sex drive, libido, and performance, potentially assisting with muscle gains and recovery. Maca also helps increase max male performance, whereas DIM balances test to estrogen ratios. And these benefits might be possible, if you double the daily serving count.
Who Takes It?
Power-Seeking Men. Alpha King lists the masculine attributes of kings in its ad copy to appeal to bodybuilding men. So, it seems they’re genuinely appealing to alpha men, or at least men concerned with becoming alphas: “the pinnacle of masculinity.” For the sake of this Alpha King review, we’ll simply point out that this product seems best for active, exercising men.
Any Side Effects?
None reported. None expected. Although, the customer reviews on this product are currently skimpy, with the only Amazon review giving this product only high praise. Even so, we’d be skeptical of any claims that this product carries any significant side effect risk.
Alpha King Review Summary
- AlphaFen. We can’t verify that it’s the “best” but we’re impressed nonetheless.
- Manly Herbs. Fenugreek, Tribulus, and Maca all benefit male health.
- Non-Proprietary. Force Factor does us a solid by showing all of Alpha King’s dosages.
- Weak Options. Not quite the ball-dropping testosterone booster we expected.
- Poor Dosages. We can see the dosages …and they need improvement.
- Price. Strangely high price tag, given the poor quality of these capsules.

Final Word on Alpha King
Alpha kings don’t need Alpha King. And beta kings won’t become alphas with Alpha King. So, who is Alpha King for? Hard to say at this point. Perhaps for male health enthusiasts who require this exact mix of herbal ingredients? Perhaps for chumps? It’s not a terrible formula, but it’s also not the most exciting.
