OptiMind vs. NITROvit seems like a fair fight.
After all, they’re in the same weight class. Both are 750 mg capsules. Both feature 12-ingredient brain-booster stacks.
But only one stack can emerge victorious. Let’s see them go head-to-head, round-for-round… and find out if OptiMind or NITROvit is the winning formula.

Round 1: Formulas
OptiMind and NITROvit are very similar in that they share SIX of the same ingredients:
- PS
- Bacopa
- Vinpocetine
- Huperzine-A
- B12
- Taurine
- Caffeine
On these shared ingredients, we gotta default to giving NITROvit the edge–simply because they show their dosages, where OptiMind does not.
But to get a better idea of which formula has the edge, let’s take a look at the nootropic ingredients they don’t share:
Only OptiMind has: Sulbutiamine, GABA, ALA, L-Tyrosine, D3, L-Theanine
Only NITROvit has: Citicoline, Oat Straw, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, B6
Both of these “mini-stacks” within stacks are good… But NITROvit‘s ingredients–which includes all of our 5 Best Nootropics–are stronger and better-researched. The Citicoline really pushes NITROvit over the top.
So for Round 1… NITROVIT WINS.
Round 2: Dosages
It’s hard to award advantages on dosages, because OptiMind is mostly a proprietary blend.
That means these jerks simply refuse to show their dosages. Cause who wants to know how much of these nootropics they’re putting in their body, right?? ::facepalm::
There’s only 1 nutrient you can actually compare in terms of dosage, and that’s Vitamin B12. OptiMind lands a jab here, with 500 mcg of B12 vs. NITROvit‘s 150 mcg.
But overall, NITROvit gains a huge advantage by displaying ALL dosages.
NITROvit has nothing to hide. Plus, since we can see its dosages we can give credit where it’s due:
- NitroVIT hits clinical range dosage on at least 5 ingredients.
Can’t say that about OptiMind.
We especially like NITROvit’s 120 mg of Phosphatidylserine (PS), which stands out as a potent dosage of a great memory enhancer that also brings big brainpower benefits.
For Round 2… NITROVIT WINS
Round 3: Quality
As for nutrient forms, both Optimind and NITROvit are on par, with a couple of exceptions:
- OptiMind‘s Bacopa is standardized to 50% bacosides… better quality than NITROvit’s plain bacopa leaf powder
- OptiMind‘s SERINAID® Phosphatidylserine (PS) is better than NITROvit’s plain PS
It’s hard to get a read on manufacturing quality for either product; they don’t really talk about their process.
But when we look at just the quality of their ingredients, OptiMind fights back, showing they care a little about using premium ingredients.
Let’s not go crazy, here. Two advanced-form nootropics does not make a supplement top-quality… not by a longshot.
But for Round 3… OPTIMIND WINS
Round 4: Price
OptiMind | VS. | NITROvit | ||
1 Bottle | $43.31 | 1 Bottle | 58.87
2 Bottles | $63.65 | 2 Bottles | –
3 Bottles | – | 3 Bottles | 118,97
Best Deal: OptiMind 1 Bottle, 30-day supply: $0.94/day
Worst Deal: NITROvit 1 Bottle, 30-day supply: $1.96/day |
It’s worth pointing out here that OptiMind has a free 14-day trial, so “free” is technically an option in pricing.
But if you try any kind of “free” trial with OptiMind, just be aware you WILL get signed up for Autoship. OptiMind has a questionable reputation when it comes to those scams.
Regardless, for Round 4… OPTIMIND WINS
Round 5: JUDGEMENT.
OptiMind and NITROvit are similar formulas. Both are designed for young professionals seeking better focus, memory and attention. They share 6 ingredients, and both have a lot of nootropics that work.
But OptiMind is undone by major weaknesses.
OptiMind’s hidden-dosage “proprietary blend” looks bad, like they have crazy or weak dosages that they want to hide.
You know what looks worse? OptiMind is a notorious Autoship scammer, with a whole catalog of consumer complaints.
It’s not the OptiMind formula’s fault. But Autoship Scams are a low-blow that get penalized in Best5’s ring.
In the other corner, NITROvit looks strong.
Really, NITROvit looks awesome by showing ALL of their dosages. Many are clinical-strength dosages, potent enough to work… across some of the best nootropics known.
NITROvit is a smart stack for brainpower. And NITROvit’s transparency makes it an easier formula to trust.
Where OptiMind scams, NITROvit is true.
There’s no evidence of scammery with NITROvit… so we give them an extra point for good sportsmanship in this match.
