He started the company with just $100 to his name! The idea behind NutriFitt, and what Austin hopes will make it stand out in a crowded market, is the fact that all the ingredients used are 100% natural.
This is a good goal and means that NutriFitt is less likely to contain ingredients that can be found on the banned list of a drugs governing body such as WADA.
For a company that has only been around for three years, NutriFitt has a surprisingly large range of products.
They’ve dabbled in the nootropics market with Neuro Fitt, they’ve got a decent pre-workout supplement (Pre Fitt), and they even have a whey protein product to their name.
They have both a men’s and a women’s multivitamin supplement, the latter of which we’re looking at today.
The Vita Fitt Women’s Multivitamin from NutriFitt claims to support energy metabolism, eliminate vitamin deficiencies, support your immune system, and maximize your micronutrient consumption.
It also promises to boost hair, nail, and skin health. There are over 50 ingredients contained within each serving.

Directions for Use
This is a multivitamin, so there aren’t exactly carefully written directions for use.
In fact, we can’t find any on the packaging or website. Luckily, it’s common sense.
Multivitamins are not dependent on timing, so can be taken at any time of day.
However, there are certain fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, and vitamin D that are best taken with food. Meaning that there may be a benefit to taking your multivitamin with food.
Vita Fitt Women’s Multivitamin Formula Analysis
We’re not going to go into detail for every ingredient, there are over 50 ingredients contained within this multivitamin supplement.
Nobody wants to read that! Instead, we are going to take a look at some of the highlights and look at the Vita-Fitt Collagen blend and Vita-Fitt Fruit and Vegetable blend separately.
Vitamin A (5000 IU):
Not a particularly essential supplement ingredient due to its abundance in the diet, vitamin A is not actually one single compound but a group of compounds that are structurally similar.
Vitamin A is responsible for eye health, skin health, and propping up your immune system.
If you are deficient, then vitamin A supplementation is certainly recommended.
According to NutriFitt, their supplement contributes 100% of your recommended daily intake of vitamin A.
Vitamin C (200mg):
Vitamin C is almost always taken with the goal of reducing the frequency of the common cold, but this only appears to work for athletes.
Regular people may not see a reduction in frequency [1], but they can see a reduction in the duration of a cold once they have it [2].
Because athletes train at a high intensity, they tend to reduce their vitamin and mineral levels, and require more to function normally.
This explains why vitamin C may be slightly effective at reducing both the frequency and duration of the common cold in certain athletes (high endurance sports such as marathon runners for example) [3].
But for this to work, much higher levels would be required.
Vitamin D (2000 IU):
A vitamin that most people could benefit from supplementing.
Vitamin D is particularly effective for people with darker skin who live in colder climates where there is a lack of sunlight for large parts of the year.
There are many benefits to increasing your vitamin D levels if you happen to be deficient.
It is particularly effective for the elderly, as it can help strengthen bones, improve functionality, and reduce the risk of falls.

Vitamin E (30 IU):

A B vitamin complex is very useful for pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding. They can help reduce nausea, prevent certain birth defects, and prevent anemia.
While pregnant, your body absorbs B vitamins better, this helps to transfer the benefits to the child, so an increase in B vitamins through supplementation is ideal.
Of course, as always, speak to your doctor before taking any new supplements if pregnant.
Calcium (500mg):
While calcium has many benefits, it does seem to be particularly useful for women.
Reducing the risk of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women, and helping to reduce the symptoms of PMS [8]. The dosage is ideal for this.
Iron (18mg):
As with calcium, there are many non-gender specific benefits to taking iron.

ALA is effective at increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation, but other than that it isn’t anything special.
Very high doses of ALA may help to reduce weight in obese people, but the evidence for this is weak at the moment [9].
Vita-Fitt Collagen blend:
The ingredients present in this collagen blend are collagen, choline bitartrate, inositol, and silica.
The idea is to improve joint health, something that can be very important for women as they age.
Finding a good collagen supporting supplement can reduce joint pain, inflammation, and treat rheumatism and osteoarthritis.
Sadly, the blend uses a proprietary label which means we have no idea whether the ingredients used are in the correct dosage.
Vita-Fitt Fruit and Vegetable blend:
Another proprietary blend that hides the dosages of individual ingredients. There’s not much we can say about this.
There are 17 ingredients in this blend, and the total dosage is 55mg, which means an average of 3.235mg per ingredient.
That isn’t much! If Vita Fitt want to have a fruit and vegetable blend in their multivitamins, then they should do it properly. With properly dosed ingredients, with an explanation as to what each ingredient does.
Because it is not obvious, and without dosage information we don’t know whether the ingredients are effective even if they do work.

This multivitamin delivers all of the vitamins and minerals that you need to stay healthy.
The magnesium and zinc are a great idea as they can help with sleep and recovery from exercise.
The focus on B vitamins, iron, and calcium, are good ideas because they are specific to a woman’s needs. Make no mistake, this is a solid offering from NutriFitt.
Who Takes it?
Obviously, women are the intended target. But other than that, this product is broad enough to help both older women and younger women.
In fact, that may actually be a weakness. Instead of targeting pregnant women, or young women, or the elderly, it seems designed to suit all women.
We tend to prefer multivitamins targeted to your age range, as they usually reflect changing needs for nutrients as we age.
Women who have experienced the menopause, for instance, won’t need the high iron levels in this product.
Likewise, pregnant women may need more of certain nutrients than are included here.
Multivitamins are best for women (or men if it’s a male multivitamin) who have a poor diet.
Ideally, we’d all eat healthy meals three times a day and have no need for a multivitamin. But sadly, most people aren’t even close to healthy in their approach to diet.
This is where a multivitamin can step in, not to replace a good diet, but help mitigate the effects of a bad diet.

Any Potential Side Effects of Vita Fitt Women’s Multivitamin?
As with any supplement, there are side effects that may affect people differently. Most people who take multivitamins will experience zero side effects.

The price is $24.99 from the website. This isn’t a rip-off price, it works out at $0.83 per serving, but we’ve seen better multivitamins for similar prices, and sometimes for even cheaper!
Vita Fitt Women’s Multivitamins: Final Word
The problem with reviewing multivitamin supplements is that for the most part they’re all the same.
You know that they are going to contain vitamins A through K, and almost all of the major minerals will be present.
What your review normally comes down to is what makes this particular multivitamin stand out from the crowd.
In Vita Fitt’s case, it would be the collagen blend and the fruit and vegetable blend.
While not alone in using either blends to improve their product, it’s still something that separates it from the more basic multivitamins.
So why has NutriFitt done such a poor job here? Using proprietary blends to mask correct dosages is such an irritating practice.
We can’t properly review these blends, because without the dosage for each ingredient we can’t say whether they work or not.
Their marketing for these blends is also non-existent. They’ve got Mexican Yam Extract in there, but what is the purpose?
Are there any benefits? If so, is the dosage effective? We’ll never know.
It’s a shame, because if they’d been open and honest about this blend, we could be here right now writing about how cool the blend was. But they didn’t go down that route, so we’re left mildly unsatisfied.
