Thrill seekers.
Some people just have to know what it feels like to jump out of a freakin’ airplane.
They need to have their heart rates so high up their veins might just pop! The looks on their faces tell us it’s all worth it, though. Why do they do this? It’s all because life can get pretty boring if you do the same thing every day.
And just like life, even the best supplements can get old pretty quick if they use the same old formulas over and over and over. VPX seems to think like a thrill seeker when it came out with Redline Ultra Hardcore.
Sporting controversial ingredients, will Redline Ultra Hardcore be the ultimate fat burner for thrill seekers? Or will it be just like those “innovative” fat burners that try too hard to be different only to fail in the end?
Let’s find out…

About Redline Ultra Hardcore
Redline Ultra Hardcore sports a pretty interesting formula. It’s not the type of supplement that recycles the usual ingredients but instead built a formula that screams “How bad do you want it?!” Formula notes:
- Cool capsules: Black microtabs are absorbed quickly while Blue microtabs slowly release the compounds for up to three hours… or so they say.
- Liquid formula: Delivers the goods within seconds. That’s some high-tech shizzle, bro..
- Potentially risky stuff: DMAA and BMPEA in one formula. Talk about a rare sighting. Hardcore as advertised.

Hot, fast, and definitely not for noobs.
We’ve all seen plenty of traditional yet effective fat burners and we love them. They WORK. Another good thing about those fat burners is how they are usually easily tolerated even for newcomers.
But that’s not the case with Redline Ultra Hardcore. It’s not for the usual “I want to lose 10 lbs. in two weeks” crowd. No, this fat burner is for serious athletes who want their body fat below 10%.
Let’s break down the ingredients in this formula:
Fat Catabolizor & B-3 Potentiator, 365 mg
Caffeine, 290 mg
Caffeine is our #2 Fat Burner which means its presence in any fat burner warrants a bro nod. We’re not exactly sure if we should be nodding at that dose, though, especially since this fat burner is stim-packed.
Trans-Resveratrol
You get this from grapes and drinking red wine. It’s usually a supplement for good cardiovascular health but it does have potential when it comes to preventing weight gain by mimicking what happens to the body when subjected to calorie restriction. Too bad the weight lost isn’t significant enough and requires a looooong time (minimum effects felt in 30 days) to actually work.
1,3-N-Dipropyl-7-Propargylxanthine
This is to caffeine as the Hulk is to Bruce Banner…literally. This caffeine analogue is actually revealed to be at least 100 times more potent than caffeine itself! To put that into scale, 10 mg of this is equivalent to 1000 mg or 1 g of caffeine. Yeah, let that sink in.
Guggul Extract
Guggul is known for a substance called gugglsterone. In the context of fat loss, Gugglsterone is known to reduce overall cholesterol particularly functioning as a hypolipidemic or, in layman’s terms, a lipid-lowering drug. So it’s basically a potential heart-healthy ingredient, standardized to 95% at that, but definitely not a fat burner.
3’-5’-cAMP
cAMP is the enzyme increased by our fat-burning friend Forskolin. With regards to its source, we’re pretty sure writing it as 3’-5’-cAMP is a mistake since it’s not exactly something you can manufacture artificially.
Moving on, elevated levels of cAMP are often associated with improved fat loss and is also capable of boosting the effects of other fat burning compounds. We like adding forskolin as much as the next guy but the dosage is a huge turn off since the working doses start at 250 mg.
Toothed Clubmoss
Good ‘ol Huperzine is known to enhance brain chemicals, mental energy, and boosts brain cell regeneration. It actually almost made it to our top 5 Nootropics! It’s known to be quite effective even in small doses of even 100 mcg.
Supra-Amine™ Apple geranium
This is your DMAA or geranium oil extract. It works just like Ephedrine which is why it’s known to sound off false positives and anything that makes you fail a drug test is a no-no for competing athletes. It’s pretty safe to take, though, so long as you take precautions.
Typical doses range from 20-30 mg up to 60 mg or more. We like to hope but being last on the blend, and below Huperzine too, leaves little room for good dosage.
Iphoric® Potent Methyl B-PEA Matrix, 315 mg
R-B Methylphenylethylamine HCI
This is also known as BPEA or BMPEA. It’s also called the “beta” version of meth since their only difference is where the ethyl chain is attached (meth is in “alpha”). It’s a really controversial stimulant and the dangers here are the same with synephrine and DMAA (raised blood pressure and heart rates) which is why FDA hates it. It’s a mean fat burner-stimulant nonetheless.
N-Methyl-B-Phenylethylamine HCI
Is another variation of the “meth” but the difference between BMPEA and NMPEA is how they’re made: BMPEA is artificially synthesized while NMPEA is naturally produced in the body. They also claim NMPEA to be metabolized slower than BMPEA which means this blend is designed to be a two-stage stimulant mix.
NorEpiphex™ a2-Andregenic Blockade Complex, 6 mg
Yohimbe Complex
Yohimbine is the active compound found in Yohimbe bark and is especially potent when combined with caffeine and other stimulants so even 6 mg is wicked when it comes to dosing. It’s known to improve blood flow and burn fat.
NorEpiphex™ M-MAOxidizer-I™
Barley (Hordeum vulgare) (bud) [std. to hordenine HCl]
Hordenine is a bitter orange compound and works by boosting adrenaline hormones to trigger fat-burning in the body. It sounds awesome on paper but it’s not exactly strongly backed when it comes to studies and research. It’s a wildcard at best.
Olive Leaf Extract (Olea europaea) [std. to hydroxytyrosol]
Hydroxytyrosol is a potent natural antioxidant from olive oil. It is usually used for heart health and immune health. Here, though, we think its potent antioxidant activity helps counter the oxidative stress of intense fat-burning, so it makes sense as a side ingredient.
Thyromimetic Activity Stimulator, 175 mcg
Diiodothyronine complex
This is definitely something we don’t always see. Diiodothyronine is an active thyroid hormone that’s able to increase energy expenditure and lead to weight loss. This is definitely for those who want less than 10% body fat without restricting their diet even more. There’s a risk, though, especially when it comes to hypothyroidism and increased heart stress.
Formula Analysis
We’re seeing plenty of controversial/risky names here but we’ll address them later.
First up is Caffeine which screams “MORE REPS BRO!” with that dosage. Resveratrol is a so-so addition and takes a full month before you feel anything…that is if you feel anything at all. Putting cAMP is thoughtful but the dosage is definitely less than effective. Huperzine, on the other hand, gives you laser focus even in tiny doses. Yohimbe only appears underdosed but being standardized to yohimbine actually makes the dosage potent enough. The ultra-tiny dose of Diidothyronine should just be enough to help you burn off the last few layers of fat in your body for you to get that really shredded look.
Having Hordenine might not exactly be a smart decision but at least it has valid reasons to be in a fat burner unlike Guggul extract and Olive leaf which, if I have to remind you, are utterly useless if not too weak in this blend.
Now to the good (bad) stuff.
We have a rare sighting in the form of 1,3, N-Dipropyl-7-Propargylxanthine which just happens to be 100x more potent than regular caffeine. Adding this in would’ve been fine and vastly innovative if Redline didn’t already have plenty of caffeine in the first place. This on top of DMAA and BMPEA, two supplements in FDA’s watch list. Potent fat burners? Yes. Awesome stimulants? Definitely. Too much? Overkill.
We all know what happens when we put too much stim in one stack, right? Redline’s “Ultra Hardcore” concept is definitely there but we have to call them out on safety concerns particularly when it comes to side effects.
Redline Ultra Hardcore Benefits
Plenty of energy and lots of fat-burning potential. There’s a chance you’ll be doing everyday things at 1.5x speed too. There’s a bit of nootropic action here but we’re not sure if the dosing is enough to calm the stimulation storm Redline Ultra Hardcore will bring you.
Who Takes It?
It’s not for the faint of heart…literally. This fat burner is for bodybuilders and fat shredders on the look-out for risky substances in mainstream supplements specially since some of them are difficult to obtain as standalone ingredients in the country.
Any Side Effects?
Palpitations, intense sweating, hotness, crashes, headaches, sleeplessness, jitters, and even hypertension and the occasional stomach aches. Basically everything but the kitchen sink.
