Getting ripped, shredded, sliced and diced ain’t easy. Animal Cuts makes it easier… unless you hate swallowing pills.
Like other “paks and staks” in the Animal product line, Cuts doesn’t even try to give you everything in 1 capsule. Instead, you get a packet of 8 capsules.
The “pak” strategy helps Animal Cuts hit a BIG 8.5 g serving size. With 40 ingredients, it’s like a vitamin store in a packet.

8 capsules, 40 ingredients, 8 complexes, 8.5 GRAM serving size… damn that’s a lot of nutrition!
Let’s break it down, looking at each of the 8 complexes that make up the formula:
1. Thermogenic Complex, 750 mg
It starts with straight caffeine, plus three more botanical caffeine sources: Kola nut, guarana & yerba maté. How much caffeine it adds up to is anybody’s guess. But there’s no guessing about caffeine’s effectiveness here… it’s our #2-ranked fat burner ingredient overall.
The coleus is good for ATP energy and thermogenesis, but Animal Cuts shoulda used standardized coleus. Raspberry ketones are trendy, but look somewhat effective.
Evodiamine is a different story. This Chinese herb has zero fat-burning activity, and may even accelerate the body’s clearance of caffeine — a counterproductive bio-activity in this caffeine-driven thermo stack.
2. Metabolic Complex, 750 mg
Supplies four different kinds of tea extracts with coffee bean extract thrown in for good measure. All are standardized for polyphenols, but only the GREEN is standardized for EGCG, the active compound that’s most associated with fat-burning benefits. With this blend you get broad-spectrum antioxidant support, along with some (but not necessarily enough) fat-burning Chlorogenic Acids.
3. Thyroid Complex, 350 mg
The L-Tyrosine is included because it is used as a raw material to make metabolism-boosting T4 thyroid hormone (thyroxine). The olive leaf, quality-standardized to supply an exact level of oleuropein, may further concentrate thyroid hormones in the blood.
That Salvia isn’t THAT salvia… nope, it’s just Sage. It does have some thyroid-stimulating activity, but the drawback is that it may boost the girly hormones prolactin and estrogen.
4. Diuretic Complex, 800 mg
Six traditional herbals with diuretic activity, including highly effective dandelion and uva ursi. The 800 mg serving size is big enough that we believe it will successfully dry you out. Allegedly, the herbs were selected because they spare potassium – so while your pissing gallons, you won’t be pissing away important electrolytes.
5. Nootropic Complex, 500 mg
This blend includes 3 of our top-rated nootropic ingredients: Bacopa, Huperzine-A and DMAE. They are a good mini-stack for cognitive performance, promoting feelings of alertness, quick thinking, and positive-minded motivation.
Xanthinol Nicotinate is a vasodilator that might boost brain circulation. The B-PEA only has weak research, and doesn’t seem to add much to this complex.
6. Cortisol Inhibiting Complex, 300 mg
Ashwagandha and Rhodiola are legendary anti-stress adaptogen herbs, both of which can help to keep cortisol in check. The Serinaid is actually Phosphatidylserine, which is far more popular as a memory supplement. Early evidence shows it may blunt the cortisol spike that usually occurs after training.
The magnolia makes much less sense – it hasn’t been shown to reduce cortisol; in fact, it may raise blood levels of cortisol-like stress-related compounds.
7. CCK Inhibiting Complex, 300 mg
CCK refers to cholecystokinin, a peptide secreted by the pancreas to regulate appetite. So in other words, this is Animal Cuts’ appetite-control blend.
Cha-De-Burge is a South American tree bark-herb that is used for weight loss, but doesn’t have much evidence. Hoodia cactus is a better appetite-control ingredient; Jojoba shows some promise for appetite reduction in animal research, too.
Bioavailability Complex, 500 mg
This blend makes the least sense. Ginger and cayenne are fat-burners and metabolism-boosters, but that’s not the same as bioavailability. In fact, the ginger, cayenne and grapefruit are unpredictable; shown to improve absorption of some drugs while reducing absorption of others.
Bioperine is a winner though: It boosts absorption while delivering thermogenic activity; great for a fat-burner stack.
Formula Analysis
Animal Paks like Animal Cuts leverage a big formulation loophole: When your serving size is 8 capsules, you get more flexibility & power out of your formula.
Throw 8 capsules against a wall, and something is gonna stick.
In this case, Animal Cuts stacks 40 ingredients to optimize 7 different pathways for fat-burning success:
- Thermogenic enhancement
- Metabolism boosting
- Thyroid support (which boosts metabolism more)
- Diuretic/water balance
- Nootropics
- Cortisol control/anti-stress
- Appetite control
PLUS, they throw in a bioavailability complex so you can absorb and metabolize all these crazy ingredients.
The resulting formula is not streamlined or efficient… but it is powerful, and it works.
Animal Cuts’ Thermogenic & Metabolic Complexes are the real deal. Combined, they supply 1500 mg of time-tested fat burners and quality caffeine sources, as well as some trendy & emerging fat-burner compounds. The Thyroid Complex adds synergy: By ramping up thyroid activity, it adds to the metabolic boost from another angle.
Diuretic, Nootropic & Cortisol Complexes look good to us, too. Strong ingredients for a dry body, clear mind, and balanced stress-state (mentally & physically).
On the weaker end, CCK Complex is driven by questionable Cha-De-Bugre, but backed by more reliable Hoodia and Jojoba. It might make a difference. The Bioavailability Complex is saved by Bioperine; otherwise this blend just doesn’t make sense to us.
Overall, there’s a lot of skillful formulation behind Animal Cuts. We especially like how they address the shredding/fat-burning challenge from so many different angles.
With 40 freaking ingredients, Animal Cuts is complete fat-burning support — and if not, it’s damn near close.
For bros that don’t want all that complex craziness, there are other fat-burners that still pack a punch without pumping you full of 40 ingredients and 8 caps per serving.
Animal Cuts Benefits
Benefits associated with Animal Cuts include a burst of super-stimulated energy, increased metabolic performance, and a boost in body heat as the thermogenic activity kicks in. Cortisol and Nootropic bio-activities may combine to replace stress with calm mental clarity and positive-minded motivation. It will help you dry out, too, a.k.a., piss like a horse.
Who Takes It?
Animal Cuts is for serious bodybuilders who want to get sliced, diced & shredded. This is NOT an entry-level fat burner. It’s some professional-strength stuff.
Any Side Effects?
There are so many ingredients, we can’t even guess. But keep in mind, 40+ compounds in decent dosages taken together will likely have some interactions.

Final Word on Animal Cuts
Animal Cuts has a few formula derps. It’s not the smartest or most streamlined fat-burning stack around. BUT, Animal Cuts is so huge and far-reaching… it’s too big to fail. Even if half its complexes work, it will STILL promote shredding success.
