Xenadrine Core vs. Hydroxycut SX-7. We have here a battle between two supplements that want us to “feel” something and it’s not the feel you have when you see Bambi’s mom die. Not even close, bro so you go and wipe that tear now.
The feel they want is the kind of feel where you know you’re “in the zone” when you lift. We’re talking about feeling the energy course through our veins! These two supplements both claim to provide a thing called “sensory experience” and we have no idea what they mean. Still, it seems like a good idea to pit these two “sensory” fat burners against each other and find out which fat burner “outsenses” the other.
Both seem promising on paper but which one would feel hot enough? Let’s find out…

Round 1: Formulas
Both Xenadrine Core and Hydroxycut SX-7 really want us to have a “sensory” experience while burning loads of fat. Let’s take a look at what they got in store for us.
Xenadrine Core is a classic fat burner with an herbal twist.
Xenadrine Core starts off with our #5 best fat burner Green Coffee Bean Extract. It comes in a premium form called Svetol and is standardized to 45% CGA so you know it’s hot stuff. It further fans the flames with the classic Caffeine + Theanine stack guaranteed to shred fat and provide loads of energy minus the stimulant setbacks.
We also see the likes of standardized Yohimbe and Coleus extract. The former is an effective fat burner which might add to the whole “sensory experience” claim since yohimbe can be quite intense and by intense we mean your heart rate might surge along with your blood pressure. The latter helps speed up weight loss while boosting T. How awesome is that, bro?
Some of the minor ingredients include White Kidney Bean, a bonafide carb-blocker together with Caraway that functions as an appetite suppressant. Mangosteen and Perilla for muscle recovery and Gotu Kola for a mild release of caffeine which is supposed to help you get a late burst of energy when the first batch of caffeine is almost out.
Aside from the minor ingredients, the formula seems solid and offers some form of focus. Now let’s see what Hydroxycut SX-7 is packing.
Hydroxycut SX-7 nothing too fancy; just the burn bub.
Hydroxycut SX-7 shares a similar formulation to Xenadrine Core minus the fancy herbs. It has standardized Green Coffee Bean Extract and Yohimbe, Coleus, Caffeine, as well as Theanine. Its wildcard ingredients are standardized Salvia for improved blood circulation (possibly for faster absorption) and Satsuma Mandarin has a potential abdominal fat reduction thing going on with it.
It’s a rather simple yet straight forward approach and shows focus above all.
In conclusion of the first round, both formulas show potential when it comes to burning fat and being sensory and shit. They’re both good but only one of them gets to have an award for formula design and that is Hydroxycut SX-7.
Xenadrine Core could’ve done better without the fancy herbs and Hydroxycut SX-7 showed us what Xenadrine Core could’ve been if it did remove them.
Round 1… Hydroxycut SX-7 Wins.
Round 2: Dosages
Xenadrine Core doesn’t want us to see shit but it did leave a clue for Scooby Doo to pick up on (hint: it starts with Caffeine). Hydroxycut SX-7 is a bit more of a sport when it comes to transparency so a big kudos to Hydroxycut SX-7 and a mean eyeroll to Xenadrine Core.
For this, we’ll consider the dosages for their main ingredients and both have Green Coffee Bean Extract (GCBE) and Caffeine, two of our five best fat burners. Take note: both fat burners are utilizing a one-cap serving so they both can’t afford to miss a dose.
Xenadrine Core hints to have more than 150 mg of GCBE and 150 mg of Caffeine. Let’s assume they make up around 300-ish mg together. Hydroxycut SX-7 declares a good 200 mg of GCB and 145 mg of Caffeine making up 345 mg. Both supplements’ GCBs are standardized and the caffeine difference is negligible.
It looks pretty even until we analyze the weight and quantity of ingredients. Xenadrine Core has at least 100 mg more than Hydroxycut SX-7 but it also has more ingredients to worry about.
Because of this, even if Xenadrine Core comes out higher than Hydroxycut SX-7, it also means the rest of its ingredients automatically fail on dosages and hitting only two of ten ingredients is not exactly a sign of a great product.
Hydroxycut SX-7 is therefore much better especially when the low doses fall on standardized and minor ingredients considering it doesn’t even have 500 mg to work with.
As far as smart dosing and balancing is concerned, Hydroxycut SX-7 takes this one.
Round 2… Hydroxycut SX-7 Wins.
Round 3: Ingredient Quality
We see a lot standardized ingredients on both sides.
Xenadrine Core has three: GCBE, Coleus, and Yohimbe. All three ingredients are known to be incredibly good fat burners.
Hydroxycut SX-7 has four: GCB, Salvia, Yohimbe, and Satsuma. Only GCB and Yohimbe exhibit evidence-backed fat burning potential as the other two are speculative additions at most.
From this standpoint, it would seem Hydroxycut SX-7 is against the ropes but when you take into context the dosages, you’ll notice how Xenadrine Core’s standardized ingredients won’t save it from underdosing. This means even if Xenadrine Core spent more money on acquiring lots of premium shit, if the dosages are shitty anyway then it doesn’t matter.
For having premium ingredients paired with the right dosages, Hydroxycut SX-7 takes this again. No contest.
Round 3… Hydroxycut SX-7 Wins.
Round 4: Price
Xenadrine Core | VS. | Hydroxycut SX-7
1 Bottle (39-day supply) | $19.99 | 1 Bottle (80-day supply) | $69.99
Price Per Capsule | $0.25 | Price Per Capsule | $0.88
Price Per Serving | $0.25 | Price Per Serving | $0.88 |
Round 4… Xenadrine Core Wins.
Round 5: JUDGEMENT
If you look at our reviews on Xenadrine Core and Hydroxycut SX-7, you’ll have to zoom in just to see the difference in their ratings. Both are decent fat-burning stacks, but Hydroxycut SX-7 has a slight star smidgeon over Xenadrine Core:
- We’re talking 4.0 (Xenadrine Core) vs. 4.1 (Hydroxycut SX-7) out of 5 stars.
I’d definitely pay to see this fight bro!
It’s so close so which one should you choose? Well, they basically have the same functions but if your budget isn’t too high or if you have a thing for fancy herbs and multi-tasking supplements then Xenadrine Core is your product.
For us, though, we’d definitely go for Hydroxycut SX-7 if we’re only to buy it for fat-burning and energy. We don’t really see the need for the other fancy herbs if they’re weakly dosed or barely have any research to begin with.
As far as “feels” go, Hydroxycuts SX-7 would definitely make us feel the heat as evident in our top fat burners rankings.
