One of the key aspects of intelligence is DISCIPLINE.
And essentially discipline involves the sacrifice of immediate pleasures for later, long-term benefits. Which is why super intelligent, highly disciplined people may be drawn to Performix TCP: a cognitive enhancing nootropic formula that promises Timed Cognitive Priming. Or, in other words, a slower release of nootropic results over time.
The oppose, less disciplined counterpart to TCP would be something along the lines of caffeine — an immediate, compromising jolt of jittery energy.
Funny enough, one of Performix TCP’s primary ingredients is (you guessed it) caffeine. Begging the question: What the EFF, doods?? To learn what the EFF, you’ll need to read the Performix TCP review below.

About Performix TCP
Performix TCP is a Timed Cognitive Priming nootropic supplement with all the standard Performix bells and whistles: TERRA Dosing Technology, premium herbal extracts, and a heavy price tag. However, if any of these features check out, then the price is more than worth it. But is it worth it? Formula notes:
- Brain Energizer Matrix: For Performix, “energy” essentially translates to “caffeine rush,” given the 175 mg caffeine supplied by this proprietary blend.
- Brain Focus Matrix: The better blend of the two, this “focus” blend stacks an impressive array of high-powered nootropic compounds and herbal extracts.
- Multi-Phase Tech: Performix keeps touting their “Multi-Phase” beaded technology, yet fails to reveal the legitimate advantages of their “high-tech” capsules.

Performix TCP: Timed Cognitive Priming via “Time-Release Brain Enhancement”… but how much time we talking here?
Performix brand supplements are big on their TERRA beads-in-capsules technology for its purported time-release benefits. Only issue: the effort to accomplish this design requires an unnecessary number of additives and fillers.
Another issue: We’re not sure if it actually works.
So, the best we can do at this point is determine whether or not the ingredients themselves work in this formula. Then we’ll tackle the formula as a whole in the formula analysis below.
Performix TCP Review: Ingredients
Performix TCP splits its ingredients into two proprietary blends, of which each are hidden in the proprietary Performix™ TERRA Pod Time-Release Cognitive Matrix. Sort of a double dick-move here: Performix could have at least revealed the dosages for each blend, but they decided to lump those blends under a larger, catch-all proprietary blend. Even so, let’s check out the ingredients blend-by-blend, starting with:
Brain Energizer Matrix
Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) – Fancy caps often carry MCT as suspension material for their beaded content. Performix supplies a 175+ mg amount of MCT, which may not only act as suspension liquid but may benefit cognitive brain health with its nourishing fatty acid content.
Caffeine Anhydrous (175 mg) – The first cognitive enhancing ingredient in this blend: caffeine. Ever heard of this stuff? Apparently, caffeine increases energy, focus, and thermogenesis, but only achieves a nootropic status when stacked with the next ingredient.
Theanine – A smart addition to this formula, L-theanine tops our BIG List of Nootropics for its reliable boosts on focus and relaxation. This unique combo of relaxed focus meshes well with caffeine, as L-theanine is able to reduce the jittery side effects of caffeine while maintaining the stimulant rush.
Theacrine (as Teacrine®) – This caffeine-like compound reportedly helps lengthen the effects of caffeine over time, adding a slow-release advantage to Performix’s caffeine content.
Huperzine A – As a synthetically derived natural compound, Huperzine-A bridges the gap between nootropic and drug. However, it’s nootropic effects are invaluable to memory and thinking, as Huperzine-A helps block acetylcholinesterase, the enzyme responsible for neurotransmitter acetylcholine breakdown.
Brain Focus Matrix
Ashwagandha (as Sensoril®) – An awesome Ayurvedic adaptogen and a reliable relaxant, occasionally erring on the side of sedation. Ashwagandha helps alleviate anxiety while assisting with physical performance and testosterone activity.
Mucuna Pruriens Extract – Another testosterone booster favorite, Mucuna pruriens supplies a potent dose of L-Dopa, the precursor to dopamine. As a cognitive enhancer, Mucuna’s L-Dopa content may help boost mood and motivation.
Citicoline (as Cognizin®) – One of the best nootropics on the market, Citicoline is a two-part cognitive enhancer: Part 1) choline, and Part 2) cytidine — which combine for a notable increase in brain energy and neuroregeneration.
Bacopa Monnieri Extract – Another Ayurvedic herb, often referred to as the Student’s Nootropic for its well-researched benefits on memory and learning. Requires long-term supplementation for its bio-active bacosides to effect peak cognitive performance.
Alpha-GPC – Similar to Citicoline, Alpha-GPC is a nootropic choline donor, just without the additional cytidine extension. In fact, Alpha-GPC supplies a higher concentration of choline per serving, pairing well with Citicoline, which provides a wider array of cholinergic cognitive benefits.
Formula Analysis
Here’s what we can say about Performix TCP at this point: It has awesome nootropics and brain health ingredients. As the label indicates, three of the ingredients are branded:
- TeaCrine® – quality, caffeine-like theacrine.
- Sensoril® – popular, standardized Ashwagandha extract.
- Cognizin® – well-researched cognitive supercharger.
What these ingredients, and the formula at large, represent are Performix’s consistent delivery of high quality, premium grade products. No doubt, Performix wishes to attach a sense of quality and efficacy to their supplements. And they accomplish this sense with such high powered herbal extracts and research-backed compounds.
However, Performix also consistently drops the ball with its persistent lack of transparency, hiding its ingredients beneath proprietary blend labels and unsubstantiated “time-release” technology.
If the claims are true, that Performix TCP delivers a finely tuned time-release cognitive effect, then you’re staring at one of the elite ranked nootropic supplements. Unfortunately, as it currently stands, Performix TCP doesn’t give us enough information to earn that status. And so it effectively downgrades itself to the lower, just-above-average rating in this review.
Performix TCP Benefits
Performix TCP makes a few benefit promises on its box label, including:
- Sharper Mental Clarity
- Focus Retention and Mental Energy
- Sustains Memory Performance
For the most part, Performix TCP chooses the right ingredients for mental clarity, energy, performance, etc. However, due to the brand’s allegiance to non-transparency, we can’t tell if any of the ingredients (with exception to caffeine) actually work in this formula. Additionally, the Performix claims on the product’s Multi-Phase Beadlet Delivery System, while impressive, don’t chalk up to much, given that Performix hasn’t released any figures yet on the actual advantages of their TERRA Intelligent Dosing technology.
As it stands, Performix TCP is a well-stocked nootropic formula that has plenty of the right parts to work for significant cognitive enhancement. But their lack of transparency limits their product’s appeal.
Who Takes It?
“Timed Cognitive Priming is designed for the individual who knows that true high-performance demands more than just physical excellence.” If you don’t know that, then — sorry, Charlie — this nootropic stack just ain’t for you.
Any Side Effects?
Surprisingly, Performix TCP has a few negative customer reviews written across Amazon and GNC that each reported side effects related to nausea and headache. Granted, most customer reviews indicate mild-to-high cognitive benefits with Performix TCP. Yet, it’s worth noting the similar reports of side effects shared between the negative customer reviews.

Final Word on Performix TCP
What can be said of one Performix product can essentially be said of the rest: Smart ingredient choices, high quality extracts, impressive design, yet strangely non-transparent, junky, and expensive. Performix makes it hard for us to answer the most important question: Does it work? In this case, the answer seems to be: Sure. It likely works for something. But it’s hard to tell how effective it is at working towards that something. And so, Performix TCP receives a slightly above meh rating
