Do you want Fuel for your testicles…
Or ball-fondling T-boosts for your inner Freak?
That’s essentially what the TestoFuel vs. Test Freak match-up comes down to as both of these T-boosters are well-endowed and freaking qualified for your hard-earned money.
Judging by the similarities between these formulas, this “fight” may turn into one of those awkward, mutually-respected, overly-intimate wrestling matches…
i.e. MAN love, bro. RESPECT.

Round 1: Formulas
When two products’ Supp Facts line up side-by-side perfectly, sharing the same amount of brackets… shit looks good.
You probably don’t give a shit, but to us, that’s art… It shows that these two are practically even matched—evidenced by their shared qualifications for our 2016 ed. Best5 Testosterone Supplements…
That’s high praise, bro.
TestoFuel fuels Anabolic Athletic Support.
“Anabolic Athletic” being the fancy term for “Meathead BRO” here, seeing as we’re dealing with the meatheadiest hormone: Testosterone.
TestoFuel accomplishes this “Anabolic Athletic Support” using 9 manly ingredients, a few that are internationally recognized & adored for having top spots on our BIG LIST of T-Boosters: D-Aspartic Acid, D3, & Zinc.
Speaking of Zinc, it’s placed in this formula as a key component of the performance-enhancing ZMA trio (Zinc, Magnesium, B6)—which is actually found in both TestoFuel and Test Freak. This is a good thing: It’s such an easy ingredient combo to add to a T-booster that we’d almost dock points on these formulas if they didn’t include it.
While ZMA covers the “Athletic” portion of this formula, D-Aspartic Acid (DAA) and herbs Panax Ginseng & Fenugreek accomplish the “Anabolic” aspect:
- DAA is our numero uno favorito T-booster for its well-researched, potent effects on T-synthesis. Not only is it great for restoring T levels among mature 30+ men, but its significant T-boosts create a heavy muscle-building metabolism.
- Panax Ginseng & Fenugreek are an adaptogen & sex-enhancer, respectively. The combined efforts of these two not only increase energy, performance, & stamina, but reduce muscle-killing stress hormone levels and T-killing SHBG activity. Also, Fenugreek makes you smell like maple syrup…
What about the Oyster Extract?
That’s perhaps the only ingredient we don’t care too much for here. It may provide additional ZMA, which is groovy, but nothing to write home about… We’ll just rank it in the neutral category of ingredients.
Test Freak promotes Athleticism AND Sex-Time Stamina.
At the same time??
Perhaps, depending on what you’re into (and your gym’s “hygiene” policies).
On top of the ZMA previously mentioned, Test Freak shoots for “Anabolic Athleticism” as well, laying down a huge bet on sex-enhancing Fenugreek:
- The Proprietary Testosterone Support Complex includes not one, but two Fenugreek extracts in its allotted 1 grams. That’s a lot of sex and maple syrup. Tapping into that dosage as well is Terrestris Tribulus, which technically doesn’t qualify as a true “T-booster,” but works very awesomely on building muscle and enhancing libido.
Unlike TestoFuel, Test Freak takes extra measures to ensure an all-around healthy T environment—one measure we like, the other we’re not entirely sure…
The first measure: With the Proprietary Estrogen Support Complex, Test Freak reduces the chance of elevated T levels converting to elevated estrogen levels—an important consideration for any T-booster.
The other measure: The second blend, the Proprietary DHT Support Complex, increases T levels by preventing the conversion of T to DHT… which is a manlier hormone than T. Technically, this does increase T, but we’re not sure the reduced DHT is worth it.
Even so, Test Freak showcases a higher sense of synergy & purpose than TestoFuel’s formula that’s hard to resist… Yet, TestoFuel has more, better T-boosters than Test Freak… And both include the word “Test” in their title…
Screw it, they both take the First Round.
Round 1… Tie.
Round 2: Dosages
One of the easiest ways to lose this round: Use Proprietary Blends.
Aside from its ZMA content, Test Freak uses three proprietary blends, leaving it up to the consumer to guess how much of what is actually given. So for now what we’ll do is compare the formulas’ ZMA, then move on to the rest:
- TestoFuel provides 10 mg Zinc, 200 mg Magnesium, 5 mg
- Test Freak has 30 mg Zinc, 90 mg Magnesium, 5 mg B6.
Test Freak’s ZMA wins.
And we’re fairly confident that its proprietary blends are on-point, with the most important blend clocking in at a heavy 2.1 g (noice!).
TestoFuel hangs in there with a solid amount of DAA, our muy amazo favorito T-booster, yet falls short with inadequate amounts of Panax Ginseng & Fenugreek.
So, believe it or not, Test Freak—proprietary blends and all—takes the win here.
Round 2… Test Freak Wins.
Round 3: Ingredient Quality
Many awesome formulas can be broken by their chosen ingredient qualities.
TestoFuel & Test Freak are both awesome formulas, but one has definite room for improvement—well, technically both do, but one has much more room than the other.
First, however, we’ll start with our points of praise:
- TestoFuel uses the exact same ingredient forms of Zinc, Magnesium, & B6 that’s used in the positive ZMA research—plus it throws in high quality “Cholecalciferol” Vitamin D3.
- Test Freak’s herbs are all “extracts” (as opposed to plain forms), its Fenugreeks in particular being premium branded Plus, its Magnesium Citrate is a step up from the Magnesium used in ZMA research.
Testofuel shoots itself in the foot, though, by using plain, boring Panax Ginseng & Fenugreek forms—also, it could upgrade its DAA to D-AA-CC, but, meh, we’ll take DAA however the hell we can get it.
Both have enough refinement to carry on potent T-boosts in your BRO bods, but one (Test Freak) has more refinement than the other (TestoFuel).
Round 3… Test Freak Wins.
Round 4: Price
|1 Bottle (30-day supply)||$65.00||1 Bottle (30-day supply)||$54.98|
|Price Per Capsule||$0.54||Price Per Capsule||$0.46|
|Price Per Serving||$2.17||Price Per Serving||$1.84|
Round 4… Test Freak Wins.
Round 5: JUDGEMENT
One draw and three wins for Test Freak.
On paper, that looks pretty damn one-sided, but don’t be fooled:
Both T-boosters are damn good T-boosters.
The only reason Test Freak took the win here is because of that word we used in Round 3: “Refinement.” While TestoFuel has more T-boosters that are better than Test Freak’s, the latter product just has a better idea of how to handle itself.
BRO to BRO: The true winner of this “fight” is you, bro. Either T-booster you decide to go with will A) Boost your T, and B) Enhance your anabolic athletic gains.
Those are good odds, esé.
In the TestoFuel vs. Test Freak fight, the winner by Majority Decision is…
