From one alpha to another, we can tell you what’s what in the alpha supplements game and we know you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. And so, if we were to tell you that Test X180 Alpha, despite it having “Alpha” directly in its title, is in fact NOT an alpha supplement, you’d believe us, right?
Or would it be that, because we’re alphas, we’re simply angry and jealous at the sight of another true alpha? As such, is our negative review on Test X180 Alpha® actually an indication that it’s the real deal? And that we’re just a bunch of loose canon alphas running at the mouth?
Of course not. Because true alphas speak wisely and plainly. And once you read our Test X180 Alpha review, you’ll see that this is a supplement that in fact does not speak truthfully.
About Test X180 Alpha
Force Factor’s back at it again with another Test X180 formula. This time it’s Test X180 Alpha, which, judging by that name, should put the other Force Factor Test X180 formulas to shame. Strangely enough, the other Test X180 products might be better. Formula notes:
- Sexual Performance: The first blend in this formula, the Sexual Performance Blend, targets sexual health with aphrodisiac herbs and N.O. boosting L-citrulline.
- Free Testosterone: The second blend, the Free Testosterone Boosting Matrix, increases free testosterone with patented fenugreek extract and more herbally herbs.
- Proprietary Formula: However, if either blend works, we won’t know for sure, since Force Factor went the obscure proprietary route on its Supplement Facts.

Test X180 Alpha targets alpha male performance with aphrodisiac, ergogenic aids and vitamins on vitamins.
As well as minerals. Don’t forget the minerals, including our favorite man mineral: Zinc.
Unfortunately, Zinc about ends it for the Best5 favorite testosterone boosters in this formula, as none of the remaining ingredients share any of the top spots with Zinc on our BIG List of T-Boosters. Having said that, the B vitamins are decent for general health and wellbeing — even if they’re somewhat under-dosed and of inferior quality.
But forget about the vitamins and minerals. We want to see what’s going on in the meat of this formula. What’s happening in those proprietary blends. Check it:
Test X180 Alpha Review: Ingredients
Altogether, Test X180 Alpha splits its ingredients into two proprietary blends: Sexual Performance Blend and Free Testosterone Boosting Matrix. Oddly enough, Test X180 Alpha seems to prioritize sexual performance over actual testosterone gains, given the former blend’s way higher dosage than the latter’s.
Even so, perhaps there’s significant test raising action happening in the Sexual Performance Blend, despite being distinguished from the free testosterone blend. Only one way to find out:
Sexual Performance Blend
Test X180 Alpha sets aside 860 mg for the following five ingredients, allowing for a potential average 172 mg per ingredient per serving. Not too shabby for most of the herbs, especially if you’re taking two servings per day. However, it’s not too great for this first ingredient:
L-Citrulline – In a clinical comparison between citrulline and arginine, the former was to found to work better at improving exercise-induced vasodilation and blood flow. Or as the bros say: IT PUMPS YOU UP.
Catuaba Bark Extract – An ancient aphrodisiac herb that boosts sexual health and energy, potentially enhancing nootropic cognition as well. May ignite your IQ as well as your pecker.
Maca Root Extract – Maca doesn’t improve testosterone status, but it does make men feel very manly, giving the impression of healthy test levels. Best for physical and sexual enhancement.
Damiana Leaf Extract – While it’s likely possess health benefits for men, Damiana doesn’t make much sense for male health supplements, given its common use for women’s health.
Muira Puama Root Extract – Similar to Catuaba, Muira puama seems to possess both aphrodisiac and nootropic bio-activities. But nothing suggests that Muira improves testosterone to any significant degree.
Free Testosterone Boosting Matrix
Another five ingredients, except this blend only grants a 350 mg dosage, which isn’t enough. Let’s hope that 99% of that went to the first ingredient, Fenugreek, to ensure that at least one ingredient here works.
Fenugreek Extract (as Testofen®) – Hugely popular sex enhancing testosterone booster that, yes, seems to increase free levels of testosterone (as opposed to total levels of testosterone). Additionally, the seed gives your sweat and urine a maple syrupy aroma tinge, so have fun with that.
White Mushroom – One of the better estrogen controlling options for its well-researched inhibition of aromatase, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to estrogen.
Stinging Nettle Extract – Neither loved nor hated, Stinging Nettle seems to operate as a mid-range male health option, with little evidence to back up its testosterone boosting effects. Yet, researchers have been looking into its potential roles in prostate health.
Chrysin – Simply a bad choice here. Chrysin does increase testosterone levels but not when consumed orally. The only way to make chrysin work is to inject it directly into your testes, and, well …let’s be real: we’re not about to do that.
Diindolylmethane (DIM) – Similar to white mushroom, DIM has been shown to inhibit aromatase, potentially helping to balance the testosterone to estrogen ratio.
For a near $100 supplement, you’re damn right you expect it to work. And so the first, and perhaps only, question that we’ll need to answer here is: Does Test X180 Alpha work?
Well… that’s a tough one.
Before resorting to a simple yes or no, let’s list through the key features of this Force Factor supplement that we like — that earn the “Alpha” attachment to this supplement’s name:
Test X180 Alpha Formula Positives
- Healthy Man Herbs — Test X180 Alpha keeps it healthy and real with its herbal aphrodisiac options, crafting a largely natural male health supplement.
- Patented Fenugreek — None of that weak, powdery bizness. Test X180 Alpha’s free testosterone booster is the good stuff: Testofen® standardized fenugreek extract.
- Vitamins & Minerals — While we’re missing vitamin D and boron, Force Factor at least provides a little zinc with a few decent B vitamins.
And now let’s go over the key features that we don’t like — that disqualify Test X180 Alpha from rightfully adding “Alpha” to its name:
Test X180 Alpha Formula Negatives
- Proprietary Blends — Force Factor hides its ingredient dosages.
- Poor Dosages — The entire “free testosterone” blend’s dosage sucks.
- Chrysin — Why do manufacturers still use this?
- Poor Cap Quality — These capsules are coated in unnecessary additives.
Plus, there’s the issue with L-citrulline, which is an awesome selection on Test X180 Alpha’s part. Or at least it would have been if they properly dosed it. Given that the first blend’s total dosage counts up to 860 mg, and given that L-citrulline will need at least a couple grams just to itself, we can’t imagine it having much of an impact on muscular circulation and exercise performance.
On the whole, Test X180 Alpha makes some solid, manly, alpha-like decisions, then shoots itself in the foot over and over with equally bad, beta-like decisions. At best, the good vs the bad here evens out to an all-around average supplement. But, uhh… we’ve got some bad news for you boys: Alphas ain’t average.
Test X180 Alpha Benefits
Force Factor makes a few benefit claims with Test X180 Alpha, including:
- Enhance Sexual Performance
- Build Lean Muscle Mass
- Maximize Power & Stamina
Mehh… maybe. While Test X180 Alpha will surely improve sexual health and performance with its herbal aphrodisiacs, we’re not all that confident in its other bio-activities. Namely because of the stack’s weak test boosting choices, in addition to its poorly dosed “free testosterone” blend. Even the most PWO ingredient in the stack, L-citrulline, is way under-dosed. So, while Test X180 Alpha boasts a big alpha game, we’re not quite seeing the alpha numbers here.
Who Takes It?
Alpha Wannabes. The type of men with the alpha-like urge and motivation to become alphas, that want to up their exercise game to their highest, manliest potential. Having said that, men looking to truly become alphas, or at least truly improve their testosterone status, may remain alpha wannabes after taking this supplement.
Any Side Effects?
None reported. None expected. Test X180 Alpha uses generally natural, safe, and healthy ingredients, so we wouldn’t slap any special warning notes on this supplement. At the least, the Test X180 Alpha customer reviews indicate no patterns of negative side effects. Except, of course, there’s Fenugreek’s smelly effect on your sweat, but you should be able to handle that, right?
Just take a damn shower for once in your life.
Test X180 Alpha Review Summary
- Testofen. Premium, patented fenugreek extract for better sex, exercise, and recovery.
- Zinc. An absolute necessary mineral for the mineral-sweating athlete.
- Plant Power. The remaining male enhancers are primarily herbal and natural.
- Gym-to-Bed Hybrid. Men only care about two things: 1) maxing out their bench press, and 2) sex. Test X180 Alpha targets these two basic goals.
- Proprietary. Why hide your ingredient dosages, yo?
- Weak Dosages. Low dosages equal poor results.
- Chrysin. We’ve yet to hear a good reason for manufacturers to sell oral chrysin.
- Crap Caps. Force Factor coats its 120 capsules with junky, unnecessary additives.
- Expensive. $99.99 is definitely pushing it for this supplement.

Final Word on Test X180 Alpha
We’ve reached the conclusion of the Test X180 Alpha review, and if you’ve been paying attention, then you likely already know our final word: Test X180 Alpha does not make men alphas. Because Test X180 Alpha does not have many alpha-grade testosterone boosters and male vitality enhancers. While you may feel a boost in vigor and energy with this supplement, it’s not effective for much else beyond that. But, if that’s all you’re after, then sure: Test X180 Alpha might just be your boi.
