Prime Male vs. Mdrive Prime pits two significantly different supplements with significantly similar goals against each other to answer only one question: Which accomplishes those goals better?
And to answer that question, we’ll also have to answer the following questions: Which supplement has better ingredients? Better ingredient dosages? Quality? Which supplement has a better price-per-value? And, most importantly, which supplement actually works??
We imagine both supplements work towards something. But let’s read the Prime Male vs. Mdrive Prime review to get a closer look on what those somethings might be.

Formula Comparison
Prime Male and Mdrive Prime both promise prime levels of testosterone activity and male enhancement — yet only one delivers.
And we’ll give you a hint on which one that is by revealing the number one testosterone booster on our BIG List of T-Boosters: D-Aspartic Acid. An awesome testosterone boosting ingredient that gets even better when supplemented in its preferred D-AA-CC form.
Was that too much of a hint?
Well, that’s only one of the ingredients in one of these supplements. There are plenty more awesome test boosters found in each product. So, let’s take a closer look at each before jumping to any early conclusions.
How are Prime Male and Mdrive Prime formulas similar?
With exception to sharing “Prime” in their titles, there’s not much overlap between these supplements. In fact, the only ingredients shared by both formulas include: Vitamin B6, Vitamin D, and BioPerine. And of those ingredients shared, the dosages and quality differ between formulas in significant ways — e.g., Prime Male has 5,000 IU vitamin D3, Mdrive Prime has 400 IU vitamin D3.
How are Prime Male and Mdrive Prime formulas different?
For one, the primary testosterone boosters are significantly different between these formulas. While Mdrive Prime has taken the herbal adaptogen route towards test booster — Ashwagandha and Tongkat ali — Prime Male went for a more direct attack, supplying test boosters that operate on a testicular level: D-AA-CC, Zinc, K2…
Additionally, Mdrive Prime supplies an unknown amount of DHEA, a WADA banned prohormone ingredient that …well, doesn’t seem to do much for testosterone gains. Prime Male, on the other hand, is all natural and safe for competition.
Prime Male vs. Mdrive Prime: Unique Benefits
Prime Male targets testosterone gains from top to bottom.
What we mean by “top to bottom” is:
- Top – From the pituitary gland’s release of LH, which signals for test synthesis.
- Bottom – To the testes ability to actually produce testosterone.
By taking a comprehensive approach to boosting testosterone, Prime Male improves testosterone status from multiple angles, hitting a synergy sweet spot not found in many testosterone boosting supplements. For the older male experiencing age-related testosterone decline, Prime Male’s multi-pathway approach ensures that all cogs are working, keeping your male machinery at optimal power.
As such, Prime Male might lack the “extreme!!” gumption favored by the younger bodybuilder types. Yet, it provide the boost on natural, healthy testosterone levels, nonetheless.
Mdrive Prime stacks quality adaptogens with the infamous DHEA.
Some bodybuilders are still holding out on DHEA, despite conflicting evidence on the prohormone. With that in mind, buying Mdrive Prime may simply come down to whether or not you’re into DHEA.
Having said that, Mdrive Prime does supply a short, sweet adaptogen stack with its KSM 66 Ashwagandha and LJ100 Tongkat ali. Both may significant improve free testosterone levels, as well as support strength and energy gains, making Mdrive Prime appear designed for the bodybuilding crowd. Tongkat ali in particular seems to improve the testosterone:cortisol ratio, potentially improving exercise results for the moderately stressed men. (As well as sex drive and libido — *wink* *wink* *nudge* *fart*.)
Yet, as far as testosterone boosting goes, Prime Male goes much farther than Mdrive Prime. And it does so without prohormones.
- Prime Male has a cleaner, more effective formula than Mdrive Prime, especially for the older, mature male crowd.
Dosage Comparison
Mdrive Prime supplies 710 mg for its Complete Blend: KSM-66, LJ100, DHEA, and BioPerine. Whereas Prime Male supplies 1600 mg for only one of its ingredients: D-AA-CC — in addition to transparently and adequately dosing its remaining 11 ingredients.
We emphasize “transparently” because Mdrive Prime does the opposite: It hides its few ingredients under a non-transparent proprietary blend. Which wouldn’t be that bad, if Mdrive Prime’s total dosage on that proprietary blend wasn’t outperformed by only one of Prime Male’s ingredients.
On the whole, Prime Male shows larger ingredient dosages on a classier, transparent, non-proprietary Supplement Facts.
- Prime Male has better dosages than Mdrive Prime. Plain and simple… Onto the next stage of the review.
Ingredient Quality Comparison
Neither Prime Male nor Mdrive Prime seem satisfied with low-grade, run-of-the-mill testosterone boosters, given the amount of ® and ™ signs littered throughout their Supplement Facts. For Mdrive Prime, points are given here for their:
- KSM-66® – potent and popular Ashwagandha extract brand.
- LJ100® – highly concentrated Tongkat ali extract.
- BioPerine® – smart nutrient absorption enhancing ingredient.
And for Prime Male, points are given for …well, just about everything in their formula.
Prime Male qualifies as one of the best testosterone booster supplements in 2018 not only for its finely selected ingredients but also its for those ingredients’ high quality across the board. While Mdrive Prime does a fine enough job with its primary test boosters, Prime Male does well with all of its ingredients — even the vitamins and minerals.
- Both Prime Male and Mdrive Prime showcase impressive ingredient quality, yet Prime Male wins this round by supplying only the best of the best ingredient forms for all of its ingredients.
Nutrient Delivery and Clean Label Comparison
Does Prime Male have BioPerine black pepper extract? Yes.
And does Mdrive Prime have BioPerine black pepper extract? Yes.
Awesome. Then we can praise both supplements for enhancing the potency and delivery of their nutrients. In tiny doses, BioPerine can go a long way in improving intestinal absorption. Given the low dosage requirement, it’s almost puzzling why every supplement doesn’t sprinkle a little pepper into its formula. But both Prime Male and Mdrive Prime do sprinkle the peppa, so we’re good here.
As far as their label cleanliness goes, however… Prime Male only has three additives as compared to Mdrive Prime’s four additives. Not too bad all around. Yet, we could do without the unnecessary colorants and rice flour. Especially considering that the rice flour is likely taking up precious testosterone boosting space in Mdrive Prime’s capsules.
- Both Prime Male and Mdrive do a solid job at enhancing nutrient delivery, yet Prime Male has a slightly cleaner “Other Ingredients” list than Mdrive Prime’s.
Price Comparison
Prime Male | vs. | Mdrive Prime
1 Bottle (30 servings) | $69 | 1 Bottle (30 servings) | $29.99
Price Per Serving | $2.30 | Price Per Serving | $1.00 |
Mdrive Prime is undoubtedly the cheaper option here. Even if you consider that Prime Male supplies double the caps per serving (4 capsules), as compared to Mdrive Prime’s 2 pills, doubling down on Mdrive Prime’s serving intake still makes it the cheaper option.
Granted, the “price per serving” discrepancy between these supplements decreases if you consider the 2 boxes or 3 boxes (+1 free box) buying options provided by Prime Male. Yet, even so, Mdrive Prime ultimately comes out as the cheaper supplement between these testosterone boosters.
- Mdrive Prime essentially costs half the price of Prime Male. Although, you can buy different pricing options for both Prime Male and Mdrive Prime to change up that price difference.
Prime Male vs. Mdrive Prime: Which is Better?
So, we’ve answered all of the secondary questions. Now, it’s onto the BIG one: Which testosterone booster is better at boosting testosterone?
Of course, between these two supplements, that title belongs to Prime Male. Not only does this supplement providing man enhancing testosterone boosters that work but it provides them in adequate dosages, exceptional forms, and in an enhanced delivery package.
Mdrive Prime perhaps does a well enough job at improving athletic performance with those awesome adaptogens. Yet, we’re not entirely convinced this product does enough to warrant the “testosterone booster” label. It simply lacks the power and synergy demonstrated by Prime Male.
Not to mention the supplement’s lack of transparency with that proprietary blend.
On the whole, Prime Male simply reads like the better testosterone boosting supplement between these two products. Perhaps you can argue that Mdrive Prime is better for the younger bodybuilding types …but, frankly, we can think of other supplements that are even better for that.
As far as this comparison review is concerned, our final judgment is:
Prime Male vs. Mdrive Prime Overall Winner:
Prime Male
