How are the formulas of Monster Test and Alpha King different?
Both Monster Test and Alpha King supply fenugreek. However, Alpha King clearly offers the better form of fenugreek since it gives you a branded standardized extract. Monster Test uses plain plant powders of fenugreek, Tribulus terrestris, and Maca which are the cheapest (but not really the best) forms of these ingredients.
Both formulas offer plain plant powders of Maca and Tribulus terrestris. They may have slight differences when it comes to potency because of the dosages of their ingredients. Monster Test did not indicate the dosages of its ingredients, so it might not be that notable.
Segue, these 2 formulas have different ingredients, too.

Which is the better formula?
Monster Test offers a good variety of ingredients. In fact, it contains 27 active ingredients for your muscles, testosterone, and libido. Monster Test is truly a well-rounded formula. However, Monster Test uses a proprietary blend which hides the dosages of most of its ingredients. In addition, it uses plain and generic plant powders for its herbal extracts which are cheap – yet a lot less potent – compared to standardized herbs and branded extracts.
The only problem with the formula of Monster Test is that more is not always better. Monster Test offers a megadose of zinc which is already risky for your prostate, so the formula of Monster Test is not really 100 percent beneficial for you.
Alpha King offers a straightforward formula which contains only four active ingredients. This allows Alpha King to have very specific results. Alpha King uses a potent and branded form of fenugreek extract which is possibly more potent than the one in Monster Test. The former has a very limited nutrient combination which we don’t expect from a supplement named Alpha King.
However, Alpha King completely stated the forms and dosages of its ingredients so you know exactly how much of a particular ingredient you are getting. With Alpha King, you are probably getting average ingredient dosages which aren’t really enough to make you an alpha or a king. In addition, two out of four of its ingredients are only plain plant powders which aren’t as potent as its standardized counterparts. DIM isn’t a very impressive ingredient, either, due to its indirect effects on testosterone.
Monster Test offers a good variety of ingredients which are beneficial for you. However, it hides the dosages of most of its ingredients in its proprietary blend. In addition, it has high – and potentially risky – zinc content (334 percent of the daily value, which is extremely high).
On the other hand, Alpha King not only offers a poor variety of ingredients, but also mediocre ingredient dosages. Therefore, Monster Test contains a better formula than Alpha King, because even though it hid the dosages of some of its ingredients and provides a risky dosage of zinc, Monster Test will deliver its promised benefits due to its good variety of ingredients and it will increase your testosterone to monstrous proportions.

Monster Test only contains plain plant powders and generic nutrients. But, this doesn’t mean that Monster Test’s ingredients are of poor quality, it is just that they are basic and not that remarkable. The ingredients of Monster Test will work. However, standardized herbs and advanced nutrient forms could’ve made it better. Monster Test uses a tablet for a delivery system for its ingredients, but it only contains few fillers and additives.
Alpha King only contains four active ingredients and only one ingredient of Alpha King is of notable quality (the branded extract AlphaFen®). Moreover, the ingredients of Alpha King are in plain gelatin capsules with a handful of synthetic supplement additives.
Price Comparison
Monster Test | vs. | Alpha King
1 Bottle (30 servings) | $19.99 | 1 Bottle (30 servings) | $69.99
Price Per Serving | $0.67 | Price Per Serving | $2.33 |
These prices are from Amazon in 2018. If you want to find a better deal and possibly save a few dollars, you can also buy these supplements from a shop like GNC. Customers can also purchase Monster Test and Alpha King from other websites such as Bodybuilding.com. Always look out for competitively-priced items and promos to get the best deal possible for these supplements.
Monster Test uses a good variety of ingredients, yet it was still able to maintain a low price. Even though its formula is primarily composed of generic nutrients and plain plant powders, it is still very likely to deliver manly benefits for you. Monster Test did not sacrifice the variety and dosages of its ingredients for a lower price tag, but it ultimately compromised its ingredient forms to do so.
- In terms of pricing, Monster Test is cheaper than Alpha King. However, in this case, the only advantage of Alpha King is the presence of a single branded ingredient which is AlphaFen®. The rest of the ingredients of Alpha King aren’t that great. Monster Test gives you more ingredients per serving and manlier benefits, too. Don’t let the lower price of Monster Test fool you – it is still entirely capable of making you manlier.
Monster Test vs. Alpha King: Which is Better?
Alpha King is a good supplement, but Monster Test is just a lot better and it is cheaper, too. The 27 active ingredients of Monster Test give you more benefits than the four active ingredients of Alpha King. In addition, only a single ingredient of Alpha King is remarkable when it comes to quality. It is also not enough to increase its price that much, considering the low dosage that it provides. Monster Test clearly has the advantage when it comes to the formula and price. Alpha King is of slightly higher quality compared to Monster Test, but it isn’t enough to make Alpha King the better supplement between the two.
