Formula Comparison
EVLTEST and Alpha Test are two testosterone boosters which produce great benefits for physically active men.
EVLTEST is a training and recovery amplifier which can:
• Regulate natural testosterone levels
• Increase muscle strength, endurance, and overall performance
• Improve sleep quality
Alpha Test is a maximum strength booster which can:
• Increase free testosterone levels
• Increase energy by supporting adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production
• Inhibit the effects of the female hormone estrogen
How are the formulas of EVLTEST and Alpha Test similar?
EVLTEST and Alpha Test are supplements with a few similar ingredients. These boost your testosterone levels, libido, and overall physical performance. Even though the active ingredients are similar, these supplements use different forms of the same ingredient. This, in turn, may affect the bioavailabilty of the ingredients. Here are the similarities we found in both EVLTEST and Alpha Test:
Ingredient |
EVLTEST |
Alpha Test |
Zinc | Zinc (as Monomethionine and Aspartate) 30 mg (200% DV) | Zinc (as Zinc Gluconate) 7.5 mg (50% DV) |
Fenugreek | Fenugreek Seed Extract (std. min. 50% saponins) 500 mg | Fenugreek extract (as Trigonella foenum-graecum)(seed) Standardized for 50% saponins 300 mg |
Tribulus terrestris | Tribulus terrestris Extract (std. min. 40% saponins) (fruit) 750 mg | Tribulus extract (as Tribulus terrestris)(whole herb and fruit) Standardized for 45% saponins 250 mg |
Magnesium stearate is also an ingredient of both EVLTEST and Alpha Test. However, this is not an active ingredient in these testosterone boosters. It is simply an additive to the actual tablet or capsule of the supplement.
Both supplements have some common ingredients. However, they offer different forms of the same active ingredient. EVLTEST’s zinc component is in the form of the popular vitamin and mineral combination called ZMA (which is also the leading supplement for athletic performance enhancement). On the other hand, Alpha Test’s zinc contains 14 percent elemental zinc which is pricey. The major upside: the body absorbs it easily.
Fenugreek is a popular libido and testosterone enhancer which both EVLTEST and Alpha Test have. Both supplements utilized fenugreek seed extracts with 50 percent saponins, which mean that they are essentially the same in terms of saponin percentage and quality. However, EVLTEST contains more fenugreek than Alpha Test (500 milligrams to 300 milligrams). Almost twice as much, in fact.
Tribulus terrestris is a popular supplement for libido. It may not directly boost testosterone, but it increases muscle gains during physical activity. In addition, Tribulus terrestris supports overall men’s health so you may benefit greatly with the intake of this herb. EVLTEST contains more of it in its formulation with 750 milligrams with 40 percent saponins. Alpha Test contains less Tribulus terrestris at only 250 milligrams but its extract is more concentrated with 45 percent saponins.
How are the formulas of EVLTEST and Alpha Test different?
Both of these supplements contain zinc, fenugreek, and Tribulus terrestris. However, EVLTEST delivers more quantity per serving than Alpha Test. In addition, the former also delivers a good amount of zinc at 200 percent of the daily value (a minimum daily value of 15 percent is high), which means that there will be enough supply of zinc in the body even if food intake is high in phytic acid (the most popular inhibitor of zinc absorption).
Segue, these two formulas have different ingredients, too.
EVLTEST has these ingredients, that are not in Alpha Test
• Diindolylmethane (DIM) 250mg
• D-Aspartic Acid 3,120 mg
• Magnesium (as Aspartate) 160mg (40% DV)
• Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl) 11 mg (550% DV)
• Vitamin D (as Cholecalciferol) 1,000 IU (250% DV)
Alpha Test has these ingredients in these dosages and forms, which are not in EVLTEST.
• Shilajit extract (PrimaVie®) Standardized for 50% fulvic acid 100 mg
• Boron Citrate Supplying 5% boron 100 mg
• Broccoli powder (as Brassica oleracea) (whole plant) 50 mg
Which is the better formula?
EVLTEST put together a lot of ingredients which you can take advantage of in a single serving. Even though each serving involves four tablets, this allows you to get the better bang for buck from your testosterone booster stack. In addition, EVLTEST also provides some essential nutrients. On that note, it keeps certain vitamin and mineral deficiencies at bay, too.
Alpha Test is not an “alpha” supplement per se. In comparison to EVLTEST, Alpha Test offers very few beneficial ingredients for either testosterone or overall health. Nonetheless, let’s give credit to their branded ingredient Shilajit extract (PrimaVie®) which significantly increases testosterone. However, this is possibly its best ingredient. The reason: the boron it contains is only half the recommended dosage of this mineral for testosterone.
Alpha Test contains broccoli powder, which is literally broccoli in the form of powder. Why would you actually need broccoli in a supplement? We think this is quite odd. While broccoli offers a ton of health benefits, you can reap their full benefits with whole-food intake. On this premise, Alpha Test’s broccoli powder is just a “filler” ingredient. No more, no less.
EVLTEST and Alpha Test clearly listed the quantity and quality of their ingredients. Both have no shady proprietary blends. This is good especially if you plan to take other supplements such as multivitamins or nootropics. You can easily calculate the dosage if you take other supplements with these testosterone boosters.
EVLTEST offers a variety of effective ingredients in a single dose. If you are after the quality of ingredients and positive results, EVLTEST is definitely the better formula. Alpha Test is a high-quality supplement. However, it offers fewer ingredients in smaller quantities per serving than EVLTEST.

EVLTEST contains only a few plant extracts in their advanced forms. It also features a few inactive ingredients which most likely holds the other components together. In addition, EVLTEST’s isomalt component helps enhance the taste of the tablet itself since you have to ingest four tablets to reap the benefits of one serving.
On the other hand, the formulation of Alpha Test features mainly plant extracts. However, it also has a few advanced forms of essential nutrients. Alpha Test’s inactive ingredients are mainly for the capsules and to keep the active ingredients together. Rice flour is just a filler ingredient in Alpha Test.
Price Comparison
EVLTEST | vs. | Alpha Test | ||
1 Bottle (30 servings) | $39.99 | 1 Bottle (30 servings) | $20.99 – $39.99
(depending on the retailer) |
|
Price Per Serving | $1.33 | Price Per Serving | $0.70 – $1.33 |
These prices are from GNC in 2018. However, you might find a better deal if you buy from local supplement shops or online retail stores (such as Bodybuilding.com and Amazon). When you shop, check out online retailers so you can save a few dollars when you find these supplements on flash sales. Keep in mind that different retailers may offer different prices for the same supplement.
Alpha Test is possibly slightly cheaper than EVLTEST depending on the retailer. However, overall savings don’t amount to much. You’ll also get fewer ingredients if you go with Alpha Test merely because of its cheaper price tag. Alpha Test contains quality ingredients. No doubt about that. However, its active ingredients are in much smaller quantities than EVLTEST.
Plus, we aren’t sure if Alpha Test has more active ingredients than fillers. The key takeaway: you might pay a lot for too many filler ingredients in each capsule. That’s just a waste of money.
- In terms of pricing, Alpha Test is cheaper than EVLTEST depending on where you’ll buy it. However, since EVLTEST contains more ingredients per serving, the small amount of savings is not worth it if you are really looking for a good testosterone booster stack.
EVLTEST vs. Alpha Test: Which is Better?
EVLTEST is the clear winner because it increases testosterone levels and enhances physical performance. In addition, it gives you the best bang for buck in terms of formulation, quantity, and health benefits. It is also probably the best t-booster supplement in its price range.
For its part, Alpha Test might cost less, but it also has few active ingredients and a lot of fillers. However, the only problem that you might encounter with EVLTEST is the four tablets per serving (a possible inconvenience for busy people). Nevertheless, some people won’t mind knowing they’ll get a lot of beneficial vitamins, minerals, and plant-derived ingredients.
