How are the formulas of AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster similar?
AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster are both free testosterone boosters with multiple modes of action for optimum physical performance. Due to the similar goals of these supplements, they have a few ingredients in common. We listed them below:
Ingredient | AMP Test 1700 | Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster |
Zinc | Zinc (as Zinc Oxide) 1 mg (7% DV) | Zinc (as Zinc Chelate) 1 mg (7% DV) |
Fenugreek | Testofen® Fenugreek Seed Extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum) 600 mg | Testofen® Fenugreek Seed Extract (50% Fenuside™) unknown quantity |
Tribulus extract | Tribulus terrestris Fruit Extract (40% saponins = 100 mg) 250 mg, Tribulus terrestris Extract (Aerial Parts) 250 mg | Tribulus (fruit) unknown quantity |
The fenugreek extract in both AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster have the same brand and form. AMP Test 1700 did not specifically list the standardized percentage of Testofen® in its formula. However, since it also used the Testofen® brand, it also contains 50% Fenuside™ (just like the one found in Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster). Testofen® is a popular fenugreek extract of consistent quality and percent standardization. In addition, several clinical trials back up its benefits.
How are the formulas of AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster different?
Both formulas supply zinc (a versatile mineral which also helps enhance cognitive function and improve sleep quality). However, not all zinc supplements are equal. Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster offers the better form of zinc which the body easily absorbs.
On the other hand, AMP Test 1700 offers a lower quality zinc compound which is quite difficult to absorb. AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster offers the same quantity of zinc. However, your body won’t absorb most of the zinc content of AMP Test 1700.
Tribulus extract fails as a direct testosterone booster, but it is a potent libido enhancer. AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster both contain tribulus extract. However, the former offers a standardized extract and a simpler form. AMP Test 1700 wants you to get powerful erections by providing a total of 500 mg of the potent sex enhancer, tribulus.
On the other hand, Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster did not specify the type of tribulus extract that it contains (we suspect it’s either Tribulus terrestris or Tribulus alatus). Either way, Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster does not offer a potent form or dosage of tribulus.
Segue, these 2 formulas have different ingredients, too.
AMP Test 1700 has these ingredients, which are not in Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster:
- Magnesium (as Magnesium Glycinate)
- KSM-66®: Ashwagandha Extract (root)
- Deer Antler Horn Powder
- Chrysin
- Sage Leaf Extract (Salvia officinalis)
- Bovine Colostrum
- Calcium Hydroxymethyl Butyrate Monohydrate (HMB)
- Indole-3-Carbinol
- Tongkat ali Root Extract (Longjack Root)(Eurycoma longifolia)
- Rhaponticum carthamoides Root Extract
- DIM (Diindolylmethane)
- Proprietary Mushroom Blend (Maitake Mushroom Mycelia Powder Shiitake Mushroom Mycelia Powder Reishi Mushroom Powder)
Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster has these ingredients in these forms, which are not in AMP Test 1700:
Which is the better formula?
AMP Test 1700 has a better formula than Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster. The formula of Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster is just too mild and it contains very few ingredients which might not meet your expectations in a testosterone booster. It is not the worst testosterone booster in the market today, but its ingredients are not as potent as AMP Test 1700’s. In addition, Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster contains only six ingredients – three of them are also in AMP Test 1700’s formula.
Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster contains just a few ingredients. Plus, it hid some of the dosages in a proprietary blend. This is totally unnecessary and pointless since AMP Test 1700 contains more ingredients. It also clearly listed the forms and dosages of each, which gives it high marks in terms of transparency.
AMP Test 1700 contains a better variety of ingredients, though not all of them are in standardized forms. The only problem with the formulation of AMP Test 1700 is that it contains deer antler horn powder, an ingredient which both WADA & the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency banned. On that note, if you plan to enter sports competitions, AMP Test 1700 is not an ideal choice for a testosterone booster. However, after a good masculinity boost without any interest in sports competitions, you can safely take AMP Test 1700.

Non-GMO | N/A | N/A |
Stim-Free | Yes | Yes |
AMP Test 1700 contains high-quality and branded ingredients, which come in flavored tablets (this is totally unnecessary, but it makes the intake of the supplement more desirable). In addition, AMP Test 1700 opted to use a standardized herb for its potent sex enhancer. On the other hand, Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster contains just a few ingredients and capsule additives. However, it only contains two notable components (vitamin B6 and vitamin B12).
Price Comparison
AMP Test 1700 | vs. | Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster
1 Bottle (30 servings) | $119.99 | 1 Bottle (30 servings) | $69.99
Price Per Serving | $4.00 | Price Per Serving | $2.33 |
These prices are from GNC in 2018. If you want to shop around for a better deal and save, these supplements are also available from your local retailer, Bodybuildng.com, and Amazon (which might offer better prices for the same supplement). Due to competitive pricing, you might buy AMP Test 1700 and Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster at a cheaper price if you find the right retailer.
AMP Test 1700 contains a lot more ingredients than Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster. This is probably the main reason behind the price difference. Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster used very few ingredients to cut costs. However, this also meant fewer high-quality and branded ingredients. AMP Test 1700 has a more potent formula which will surely deliver all the good benefits that you expect from a t-booster.
- In terms of pricing, Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster is cheaper than AMP Test 1700. However, this price difference also means that you’ll miss a lot of potent ingredients if you opt for the cheaper supplement.
AMP Test 1700 vs. Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster: Which is Better?
AMP Test 1700 is clearly the better supplement. Despite its slightly more expensive price, but you’ll reap benefits from more high-quality ingredients in return. The ingredients of AMP Test 1700 are potent – they even provide an anabolic hormone from deer antler horn powder (WADA & the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency banned this ingredient because it improves the user’s physical performance without even boosting testosterone levels).
The effects of Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster are too mild and insignificant due to its formulation. Hence, it is a waste of time, cash, and effort. In addition, Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster has already disappointed a lot of its past users based on the awful buyers’ feedback on this product. Clearly, AMP Test 1700 is the far better investment for a testosterone booster.
