Fade out is a sleep support supplement designed to help you normalize your sleep schedule and improve the quality of those hours. It provides a balance of herbal extracts, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that contribute to this goal.
About RedCon1Fade Out
One scoop of Fade Out delivers 11g of supplement; that might sound a lot, but it’s probably needed when you include 15 key ingredients (and a few more minor ones as well). But are they all needed, and do they contribute equally?
Here’s the label, so let’s find out…
Fade Out Supplement Facts
- Directions for Use
It’s pretty simple: take this product (one scoop) 30-60 minutes before bed. We also recommend taking this time to turn off screens, grab a book, and/or do some stretching.
This kind of night-time routine can help support better sleep and reinforce the benefits of Fade Out. Getting into a routine is a great way to prepare yourself for long-term success with your sleeping habits!

Vitamins and Minerals
- Vitamin C
Vitamin C is cool for a bunch of reasons. One of the best for your sleep quality is how it contributes to proper collagen synthesis.
This is a common protein in the body that is primarily responsible for tendon health, as well as skin health/appearance. These add up – especially because collagen synthesis relies on good sleep. If you’re sleeping better and you’re supplementing vitamin C, you’re going to stay in better shape!
- Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a really cool antioxidant. As with vitamin C, it’s not likely to directly contribute to your sleep quality but it does boost the restorative effects of your sleep.
The overall benefits of vitamin E are vast, and they apply to almost every cell. It’s anti-cancer, anti-aging, and pro-wellbeing. This is a great addition to this product.
- Vitamin B6
B6 is a compound most closely associated with proper energy metabolism – and also one of the most common deficiencies.
Getting more B6 is going to help you achieve normal energy metabolism. This means better wakefulness during the day and better-quality sleep at night. Overall, it’s a great vitamin and – since you can’t get loads in your diet – it’s worth supplementing.
Good job, RedCon1.
- Magnesium
This is the quintessential sleep supporting mineral. It’s included in most products for sleep – and we’re actually surprised it’s such a low dose in this product. It’s over 100% of your daily needs, which is really the minimum you’d want, but we’re used to seeing some heavier doses for sleep support.
Hopefully, RedCon1 make up for this with other compounds that support sleep and recovery more effectively than their competition!
- Zinc
Zinc is a cool mineral. It’s often combined with Magnesium because they overlap in their roles in the body. The combination of the two is also at the base of the proper use of this supplement, which is like mega ZMA; a compound that is commonly taken among athletes for sleep and recovery.
The Zinc dose in this product is really strong and we like that since it’s not always reliably absorbed. RedCon1 came through with the Zinc.
GABA
Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) has a long name which makes it science-y, right?
Actually, it’s just a tea extract. However, it’s one of the best extracts you could possibly get for your sleep quality. It’s a high-quality relaxant and has some effect blocking caffeine, which makes it great for winding down at the end of a long day – especially if you were caffeinated earlier!
GABA is also really effective when combined with resistance training, where it improves the release of growth hormone. Combine these effects and you’ve got a fantastic sleep-supporting compound that helps you get better quality sleep and produce better recovery through hormonal change!
Arginine
Arginine is okay, but we’re not sure that this is the best choice. As with other products using nitric oxide boosters, this product is intended to support better nutrient delivery.
Basically, serum Arginine improves your blood flow, which is great for recovery and good sleep. However, supplementary arginine doesn’t do this really well – a lot of it breaks down during the digestion process.
Citrulline would be a better choice. It has the same target effects, but it’s way more efficient per-gram at achieving them. Arginine is okay, but it’s definitely inferior for improving blood flow.
Mucuna Pruriens
This is basically a source of L-Dopa, a compound that turns into dopamine in the body. It’s a useful supplement because the secondary compounds support a more effective uptake/use of L-Dopa and thus improve overall wellbeing.
It’s a good way of reducing adrenaline – associated with stimulants like caffeine – and reducing overall stress levels. It positively effects mood overall, so you’re going to feel pretty great when combined with the other compounds in this product.
Phenylalanine
We’re not really sure if Phenylalanine is effective by itself, but when combined with some other compounds (such as glutamine and 5-HTP), it can be great for mental health.
However, we already know that compounds like 5-HTP are independently useful, so it’s unclear how much use phenylalanine is by itself. It’s not a proven compound, but we do think it’s better to have it than not have it in this product.
Valerian
The point of Valerian is that it reduces overall anxiety levels and has some relaxant/sedative effects. These add up to better sleep, reduced stress, and better hormonal health. This can offer significant benefit when taken as a sleep support compound.
Valerian is a great addition to this product and we’re big fans. This is especially useful combined with Mucuna and GABA.
Ornithine
This is a good secondary compound to support arginine supplementation for its role in regulating blood health. This is a more effective choice, however, since it is less likely to break down during digestion and has a better effect in this area.
It’s not going to support better nutrient delivery through serum Arginine, but it has direct sleep quality benefits and reduces fatigue. The result? Restful sleep and healthier blood markers!
Theanine
Theanine is going to be a far more effective compound if you’ve been caffeinated during the day. It combats the worse effects of caffeine and evens out its effects in the body, reducing the risk of headaches and jitters.
It’s also a relaxant in its own right, but also contributes to effective GABA production inside the body. This makes it a great synergist with GABA, as well as counteracting the negative effects of Caffeine on sleep.
Chamomile
Chamomile tea is a common sleep aid, and the extract has more pronounced effects than the tea itself. The ritual of drinking warm liquids is a good one for relaxation and sleep, but RedCon1 packs these benefits into Fade Out.
It seems to have anti-anxiety and mood-boosting effects that can support sleep quality directly and indirectly. It’s a time-honored supplement and it’s well combined with the rest of the compounds in this product.
Hops
Hops are another herbal remedy that have some scientific backing. They’re similar to compounds like Valerian for their relaxant and pro-sleep effects, making them a great choice.
Fade Out is definitely a better way of getting hops than a beer, too. Just in case you were getting some alternative ideas.
This is an underrated inclusion, but we really like hops and valerian as a synergistic combo. RedCon1 is, once again, providing some really smart and well-considered choices for their products.
Melatonin
This is the OG of sleep support ingredients. It provides some of the most well-known benefits and actually contributes to feeling of sleepiness. It’s a great compound and the dose here is low enough to reduce the risk of “melatonin dreams”.
You’re going to get a potent relaxant and it combines beautifully with the vitamin/mineral choices in this product, as well as with GABA and the Valerian/Hops combo.
Overall? Great choice.

Formula Analysis
This is one of the best sleep support formulas we’ve seen. Even looking at the vitamin/mineral combination, it is clear that this product takes ZMA as its starting point – then adds some well-thought-out combinations of ingredients.
There’s a clear design philosophy to this product. It combines products that work independently, but adds secondary compounds and synergists to make sure you’re getting the best. For example, the combination of valerian and hops, or Mucuna and its nutrient matrix.
What we’re trying to say is yes, this product will work – and really well. It adds new dimensions to a sleep support compound that you might not have thought about or tried in the past. It’s a great way of supporting your natural recovery processes.
Obviously, it’s not going to fix your sleep habits if you like playing video games until 3am while slamming energy drinks. However, if you’ve got reasonable sleep habits already – or intend to start – it can really exaggerate the benefits in your everyday life: from better training and growth to better focus, awareness, and energy levels through the day.
Basically, this product is great because it supports sleep – which is the most important process for your recovery and development. You can’t be great without great sleep, so improving this process is an easy way to win us over!
Fade Out Benefits
The benefits of RedCon1’s Fade Out are pretty simple. The first round of benefits is designed to help you sleep easier, while the second layer of benefits come from better sleep quality.
Sleep quality is directly influenced by this product, particularly the ingredients designed to combat excessive anxiety in the evenings and regulate mood, as well as directly tackling insomnia. These are great for troubleshooting issues with your sleep schedule which could be making you stressed.
Getting better sleep contributes to a ton of other secondary benefits you can expect if you improve sleep habits and quality with Fade Out:
- Better muscle and strength gains
- Improved mood and reduced risk of anxiety/depression
- Better hormonal regularity
- Improved mental performance
- Reduced muscle damage/soreness
- Improved cardiovascular risk factors
- Improvements in almost every other marker for health
These add up to significant lifestyle benefits and a serious long-term benefit to your health.
Who Takes It?
The fact that Fade Out benefits sleep makes it a reasonable choice for anyone. There’s not a single human that couldn’t benefit from better sleep, and the ridiculous variety of benefits it can confer.
Primarily, it’s going to be great for recovery from intense training. This makes it a good choice for athletes and serious trainees, but if you’re doing any form of resistance training it will be perfect for you. The vitamins, minerals, and specifically the GABA all add up for better muscular recovery/growth.
The diversity and versatility of this product are just extra reasons that we’re really starting to like it!
Any Side Effects?
There are some small issues you might run into with this product if you’re sensitive to the ingredients. However, most of these are just the result of interacting with pre-conditions, as they’re pretty safe ingredients.
For example, you may negatively respond to the arginine/orthenine if you’ve got kidney problems. If you’ve got brain problems, any of these compounds could be a problem. Just ask your doctor if you’ve got anything that already concerns you – it’s more likely they’re useful than dangerous!
Melatonin is one that some people don’t agree with. As mentioned above, it can cause some odd dreams, anecdotally. We can’t say exactly how it’ll affect you but the dose is low in this product so it shouldn’t be a problem.
However, be sure to cease use if you run into any problems. That’s obvious, but it’s always possible to experience issues.
Fade Out Summary
Pros:
- Great ingredient choices
- Synergists make the compounds even better than if they were taken alone
- Really good design philosophy: almost all the ingredient make sense and have a clear purpose in the product
- Good price – especially since ZMA alone can cost around the same as Fade Out, which is objectively better!
Cons:
- Arginine doesn’t absorb very well (but synergy with ornithine may redeem it here)
- Phenylalanine is the only compound we’re unsure about in this product

Pricing & Buying Info
This product is well priced when you consider that products that do much less are as/more expensive. For the quality of the product, the price tag of $49.99 is justified. It’s a tad pricey, but this is nothing for the potential benefits if you’re getting great sleep.
You can get the ZMA aspect of this product relatively cheaply, but there are market examples that are more expensive than Fade Out.
Given the extra ingredients and how they work together, the price of this product is really good. The servings (30) aren’t super high, but you don’t have to take it every night. It’s a great product and we can totally justify one container providing a month’s worth of high-quality sleep.
Even if you’re not convinced, we recommend trying it for yourself. It’s amazing what a month of restorative sleep can do for your overall health, wellbeing, and performance both in and out of the gym.
Given the alternative uses of $49.99 on the market, this product brings a lot to the table and we really do approve of its effects.
Final Word on RedCon1 Fade Out
RedCon1 produce some great products but this is our favorite so far. It offers such a thorough product and it is clear that a ton of thought went into each of these compounds. It’s a well-rounded and synergistic product that really does improve on standard offerings for sleep supplements.
This is one of the best products on the market for helping you sleep better. With this effect, you can expect knock-on benefits to a ton of other areas of life from work to studies to training. You’re going to recover and grow better, and be more effective in every area of life.
When you consider the benefits to training alone, it’s a great product. When you add these to everything else – managing caffeine effects, boosting awareness, and elevating mood to name a few – it’s an amazing choice.
Needless to say, we are very comfortable recommending this product to anyone who is ready to take their recovery and performance to the next level!
