We all flock to anything with an “All-Star” cast be it movies, sports, or parties we’re not invited to.
This extends to supplements. We get excited when formulas combine a bunch of All-Star nutrients into one powerful team… which is exactly what Thermakor does.
Imagine great standalone fat burners put together in one awesome stack; that’s the kind of game Thermakor brings.

If Thermakor was a sports team it would have a roster of superstars.
One look at Thermakor and you know it’s designed to burn fat. It’s made to work. Almost all the ingredients are on our list of recommended Best5 Fat Burners, and many are featured in our favorite fat-burner stacks for 2016.
Of course, we feel this means Thermakor has to work. The only possible way it would fail is if the dosages just aren’t good enough. Let’s break down the ingredients in Thermakor:
Green Tea Extract: Our #1 Best5 Fat Burner and rightly so. It boosts resting metabolic rate for better fat-burning power. The 300 mg dosage is OK, but would be better if standardized to exact levels of EGCG, which is considered to be green tea’s active fat-loss compound.
Garcinia Cambogia. Our #3 Best5 Fat Burner. It’s a great ingredient, but in Thermakor it falls short: 100 mg dose is on the low-end of clinical range, and it’s not standardized for Garcinia’s active fat-loss compound Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA).
Razberi-K. A premium-quality, branded form of raspberry ketones, organic compounds believed to promote lipolysis (fat breakdown) while optimizing metabolism. Raspberry ketones have been suggested to target belly fat, specifically, though this is not yet substantiated by strong research.
Green Coffee Bean Extract. Our #5 Best5 Fat Burner. 300 mg is a nice fat dosage of the ol’ GCBE, so we’ll forgive Thermakor for not using a better-quality form of the extract that’s standardized to supply its active fat-burning Chlorogenic Acids (CGAs).
Forslean. A branded form of forskolin, it may work by activating cAMP and triggering lipolysis. The dosage minimum is at least 50 mg per day according to its patent owners, and Thermakor hits the sweet spot. We gotta point out a DERP by Thermakor though…
Hordenine. A bitter orange compound, it works by boosting norepinephrine (adrenaline) to trigger fat-burning in the body. We’re not crazy about this choice simply because Hordenine is not backed by strong evidence for fat-burning, at least not yet. As a speculative add to a fat-burner stack, it’s just OK.
Caffeine. Our #2 Best5 Fat Burner, it’s a common favorite among supplements but the 150 mg dosage is leaning towards the modest side. We actually approve of this modest dosing, especially in combination with synephrine, which we’ll get to in a minute.
Salicin. Better known as White Willow Bark, it offers protection against adrenalin-killing enzymes and ephedrine-inhibiting prostaglandins (which is imperative for optimizing the activity of Synephrine). Dosage is good enough to assist synephrine as it does its work, and may also promote soothing muscle comfort if you’re training hard to burn fat.
Synephrine. Boosts metabolism, separates fat from cells, accelerates fat-burning, and may even help with appetite. Thermakor has a hefty 50 mg dose here, which is one reason why we like the more modest 150 mg of caffeine — the two are known to work in combination, along with hordenine. Synephrine is a potent stimulant though, so be careful.
Synephrine + Salicin + Caffeine + Ephedrine = Toxic Fat-Burner Combo?
It’s worth noting that the above 4-ingredient stack sometimes found in fat-loss products has been shown in some animal research to potentially be dangerously toxic. True, Thermakor does NOT supply ephedrine, and ephedrine may be the primary culprit in terms of toxicity. Regardless, for safety’s sake, you may want to proceed with caution when it comes to this particular stack.
Formula Analysis
Let’s get this out of the way: We could not find a decent supp facts label for Thermakor.
The one that shows up on Google belongs to their previously complex formula. Speaking of old formulas, we also fact-checked the reviews they highlighted and we found out those reviews were for their old formula and not this one.
Despite the lack of an actual supplement facts box, the Thermakor website appears to list all ingredients, along with their respective dosages. It’s nice to see that transparency, but there’s still a lot of confusion surrounding Thermakor, apparently because their formulation has changed (possibly for the better).
Now that’s over with, let’s proceed with the analysis.
Thermakor makes good use of some of the best fat burners on our Best5 list. We commend them for that.
While most fat burners would venture into using under-researched and potentially harmful ingredients in an effort to be different, or to generate “marketing sizzle,” Thermakor just went all out and put all the best fat-burners in one impressive stack.
Green Tea Extract, Caffeine, Garcinia, and GCBE are four of our Best5 Fat Burners. The only real flaw is that some of the dosages look a little low, and nothing is presented in potent standardized form. The rebound, however, is these Big 4 are smartly formulated to work together as fat burners — they make a good team.
The caffeine dosage is modest, especially for those who have caffeinated blood vessels 24/7… so don’t expect any zing or shakes out of this unless you’re as sensitive as a Tumblr user. We actually like the modest caffeine, because it shows Thermakor gives a damn about your well-being.
Both Razberi-K and Forslean are branded forms of great fat burners which could mean good news for both potency and bioavalability. It’s nice to see Thermakor using a couple of premium ingredients here.
Hordenine and Synephrine are both bitter-orange derived and both have the same bitter resolve to burn as much fat as possible. Salicin is added to act as a shield to both ingredients which makes every milligram count.
Synephrine + Caffeine is already known to be a potent fat burning stack, but adding Green Tea Extract to the mix makes fat cry in fear and melt away. This three-pronged combo works because green tea extends the half-life of adrenaline and noradrenaline, which are induced by both Caffeine and Synephrine. It’s another example of Thermakor’s intelligent formulation strategy.
And if you’re scared of Synephrine’s effects on blood pressure, then you’d be relieved to hear science demonstrates its safety so long as you don’t take too much. Thermakor’s synephrine dosage looks safe. But due to the potency of synephrine+caffeine, we suggest you take baby steps and assess your tolerance with half-dosing until you’re sure you can handle it.
How about the other Thermakor claims?
Thermakor claims to do at least 4 things:
- Give long lasting energy
- Decrease body fat
- Control appetite
- Increase mental focus
To us, Thermakor looks really solid for energy and fat-burning. Appetite and mental focus are less solid; Garcinia is the appetite suppressant ingredient, but it’s only a “potential” property and not something guaranteed. As for focus, they don’t readily state which ingredient does it but we suspect it’s the Green Tea Extract and Hordenine.
Still, we give Thermakor a 4-for-4 on (reasonably) achieving their claims.
Red Flag: Possible Marketing Shenanigans
The following product comparison box on Thermakor’s website was either erratically made or is vastly outdated. It may be because the products Thermakor compared itself to have since added the missing highlighted ingredients. In any case…
Thermakor Says:
Best 5 Says (Our chart is TRUTH, by the way…)
Thermakor | Shred Jym | Quadra Lean | Hydroxycut Fat Burner | |
Garcinia | Yes | No | Yes | No |
Green Tea | Yes | Yes, plus it’s standardized | No | Yes |
3o-Day Guarantee | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
Free Shipping | Yes | No | No | No |
It’s not terrible or anything, but Thermakor’s chart is just not accurate. We hope this is an honest mistake, because Thermakor’s formula is good enough to stand on its own — there’s no need to embellish in order to sell it.
Thermakor Benefits
Looking at the formulation, we’d expect Thermakor to deliver a modest energy bump with a more dramatic boost in fat-burning capacity. There might be a spike in alertness, focus and mental energy that would further support training efforts designed to further promote fat loss.
Who Takes It?
The models on Thermakor’s website are all about muscle cuts and whatnot, but despite targeting hardcore athletes, we feel Thermakor is better suited for those who are:
- Not regular heavy lifters or dedicated gym rats
- Taking caffeine separately (PWOs, pills, coffee, etc.)
- Just wanting to lose weight by any means necessary
Any Side Effects?
Thermakor states their ingredients are as natural as ever, and that any negative side effects are rare. They do provide caution on the jitters brought on by caffeine and the off chance that “such supplements” may give some users nausea. Straight from the horse’s mouth:

Final Word on Thermakor
Thermakor is a pure fat burner. It’s not really for training or anything else, but we like its laser-sharp focus on fat. The ingredient choices are great, stacking strategy is smart, and dosages for the most part look effective. We just wish they used more premium, enhanced-potency forms, which would really unleash this fat-burning stack’s full potential. Regardless, for its intelligent stack and leading fat-burners, we recommend Thermakor.

Lissi says
I tried thermakor and have several complaints
1. Product did not give me a “boost” or curb cravings, as it claimed. I used for three weeks and didn’t lose a single pound. (I was already in a weight loss plateau so tried this to help me out with a sensible diet and working out)
2. The money back guarantee is a lie. I paid shipping to return it within the 30 days and they only refunded me for two of the three bottles. Did not refund the whole transaction.
3. After several emails back and forth, their response was, in essence, “oh well”. And no response whatsoever after that.
Do not do business with this company. It’s a fraud.
