Cellucor Super HD vs. Lipo-6 Black are two supplements that wants to innovate the way we think about fat burners.
Cellucor Super HD tells us it’s got this one underrated “fish” ingredient that no one has thought to use before and Lipo-6 insists on a “mind over matter” approach.
We’ve seen our fair share of so-called innovators and most of them failed to excel in one thing: Burn fat.
These two are definitely super charged to challenge traditional fat burners but which one of them actually works for weight loss?
Let’s find out…

Round 1: Formulas
Both Cellucor Super HD and Lipo-6 Black are innovators in a sense that they want to redefine what a standard fat burner is but they do so with vastly different methods.
Cellucor Super HD’s secret weapon is from the sea.
Cellucor Super HD has a lot of ingredients but smartly divides them into three sections.
SuperHD ThermoSculpting Blend is made up of its three main fat burners: Green Tea Extract, Slimpro® Protein Hydrolysates, and Dandelion.
Green Tea Extract is always a welcome sight in any fat burner specially since it’s really the best one out there, and is often found in the few awesome fat-burner supplements that go nuclear on your flab, bro.
Dandelion lets you piss the extra water weight which is ideal for bros who are literally aiming for cuts.
Slimpro is what makes Cellucor Super HD unique. It’s manufactured from fish peptides and fortified with BCAAs and BCAAs are technically muscle vitamins. It’s not just muscle food, though. Slimpro is credited to have appetite suppressing effects and is also known to delay hunger. For a guy who wants to lose weight, skipping meals without going hungry is a huge plus!
Super HD Sensory Impact Blend is made up of N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine or NALT, the best form for tyrosine. NALT is the good shit you find in nootropic stacks for mental domination, and it can definitely help you stay sharp during those brutal stages of fat burning.
Rhodiola as an adaptogen/stress buster, and Clubmoss is for Huperzine-A, a nootropic so potent it works even in puny doses. Cellucor Super HD also made use of two not-so-used ingredients: Amla, type of fruit known for heart protection as well as boosting memory and learning and Rauvolfia, a plant ingredient for pain-relief which we assume is more of a recovery ingredient.
This blend is supposed to be their nootropic mix but there are a few wandering ingredients here like Cayenne, Yohimbe, and Evodia. These three are awesome fat burners and there’s nothing remotely “nootropic” about them at all.
Last but not the least is good old Caffeine, our second best fat burner.
Lipo-6 Black makes you more focused on fat-burning.
Lipo-6 Black makes you start your day with a good dose of Bacognize, a premium brand of Bacopa which happens to be one of the five best nootropics ever. Caffeine and Synephrine in the form of our favorite Advantra-Z are known for their powerful fat-burning synergy. Vinpocetine acts as both standalone nootropic and nootropic support for Bacopa.
Zingerone is the active compound of ginger capable of supporting proper digestion, improving metabolism, and appetite control. Yohimbine HCl is the active compound of Yohimbe and is known to act as a vasodilator and fat burner in many supplements.
In conclusion of the first round, both fat burners showed us how they plan on supporting our weight loss goals but with almost contrasting views.
Both have credible ingredients but if we have to choose, we’ll have to go with Cellucor Super HD for designing a more focused approach to fat burning. Lipo-6 Black definitely burns lots of fat but it’s not their primary goal here and fat burners should always burn fat first.
Round 1… Cellucor Super HD Wins.
Round 2: Dosages
Unfortunately, only Lipo-6 Black gave us full blown transparency for its six ingredients so we’ll just have to wing it a bit with Cellucor Super HD.
Cellucor Super HD is a one-cap serving with a total capsule weight of around 670 mg if you count the vitamins. With no less than 15 ingredients, it’s a tight fit for each one of them.
From what it shows us, looks like Cellucor Super HD only got Caffeine in a good dosage at 160 mg. The rest of the ingredients on their list suddenly seem minimal in efficacy but let’s focus on their ThermoSculpting blend at 250 mg. We’re not gonna lie: 250 mg is too small for three ingredients. Green Tea Extract and Slimpro wouldn’t work well, if not at all, and we’re not even sure if we should count Dandelion.
Lipo-6 Black’s doses tell us it hits the minimum effective doses for each of its six ingredients. That’s the advantage of having a small line-up, bro. We also like to tip our hats off to how Lipo-6 Black provided more than enough dosages for Caffeine and Synephrine. These two are like Shaq and Kobe when it comes to burning fat as a team and Lipo-6 Black definitely capitalized on it.
No question, Lipo-6 Black takes this round for simply providing more weight for each and every ingredient. This gave each one the kind of potency none of Cellucor Super HD’s fifteen had. It’s a shame since the design looked promising too.
Round 2… Lipo-6 Black Wins.
Round 3: Ingredient Quality
Both Cellucor SuperHD and Lipo-6 Black seemed to have spent a good amount of money on giving their customers the best ingredients but which fat burner invested on those that mattered?
Cellucor Super HD high quality ingredients are Slimpro, NALT, Capsimax, and standardized Evodiamine. Potent ingredients with enough studies to back their usage but we don’t see these four ingredients matching their dosages and high quality ingredients are useless if they get derpy dosages.
Lipo-6 Black has done well on focusing on few but promising ingredients with the likes of Bacognize and Advantra-Z, premium brands matched with the right dosages. Not to mention it also brings in Zingerone and Yohimbine HCl, active compounds in ingredients we’re used to seeing added raw.
Round 3… Lipo-6 Black Wins.
Round 4: Price

Round 4… Cellucor Super HD Wins.
Round 5: JUDGEMENT
We’re looking pretty even when it comes to these two but if you were to see our reviews for each one, you’ll see a good margin of difference between the two:
- We’re talking 2.5 (Cellucor Super HD) vs. 3.5 (Lipo-6 Black) out of 5 stars.
Quantity wins the battle but quality wins the war, bro.
Cellucor Super HD is not a good supplement in the context of our best five fat burner supplements. Hey, even Lipo-6 Black isn’t good enough compared to those five giants.
Despite its defeat, we can say Cellucor Super HD is super useful when you’re on a low-budget and if you believe in the power of fish peptides. Yeah, go Aquaman!
Joking aside, Lipo-6 Black is the fat burner you’re looking for if you want mental focus paired with the kind of fat burning you can feel and by feel we mean you’ll sweat and probably be brimming with energy while you lift.
In the Cellucor Super HD vs. Lipo-6 Black fight, the winner by a SPLIT Decision is…
