Use it or Lose it.
That’s the overgeneralized truth.
And it scares the living shit out of us.
But what then is expected of us? Are we to use it on the daily? On the weekly? The hourly?? It’s a scary motto to live by, especially when the rules of it have never been clearly defined. The stress of it alone is enough to have your libido crawling into the fetal position so clawed up that it may never sit upright again.
Fortunately, there’s a reset button available to jumpstart your libido again whenever it gets lost. And it goes by the name of Piping Rock Testosterone Max.

About Piping Rock Testosterone Max
Exclusive to Piping Rock retailers, Piping Rock Testosterone Max (or Testosterone Support Formula) promises enhanced mood, energy, muscle mass, & strength… but says nothing on T. It has all the working parts of a male supplement, but judging by these specific ingredients, we’re wondering if the name “Testosterone Max” is out of place here. Formula notes:
- Testosterone Support: The actual claim is that Testosterone Max offers “Testosterone Support.” Which is true for a few of these herbs, but not all.
- Potent Sex-Enhancer: Every ingredient in this formula contributes to libido & sexual health through various bio pathways.
- Misleading Marketing: You would expect “maximum” testosterone with this formula, but its boosts are far from the BEST for TEST.

Piping Rock is piping hot for sex & performance, but not T.
This formula needs to be renamed “Sexy-Time Max” (or something that conveys the same message without sounding perhaps like a ‘70s porn star). Because all of these ingredients are great for enhancing sex & physical performance, but do very little in the way of enhancing T.
Yet, to Piping Rock’s credit, they officially labelled their formula as a Testosterone Supporter rather than Booster… But even that seems like a slight misnomer.
Let’s check out the ingredients to see how much “T support” we’re dealing with here:
Maca Extract, 1200 mg
Pulling in more milligrams than the rest of the formula combined, Piping Rock’s Maca 4:1 Extract as the leading ingredient is looking potent & premium.
Traditionally used in South American folk medicine, Maca has a deep history of enhancing male strength, vitality, & virility—backed by the Maca’s revered status as a pre-war tonic. Today, Maca is occasionally used in pre-workout conditions (which is sorta like war, right?) due to its demonstrated advantages on physical & sexual health (in adult healthy men).
Maca might have you feeling manlier, but these feelings are likely unrelated to T.
Tribulus Extract, 250 mg
We’re somewhat surprised this herb isn’t prioritized over Maca in this formula.
Tribulus Terrestris is by far the most popular herb in testosterone boosting products for its noticeable effects on sex & physical performance. Some research suggests that it may indirectly help T precursors among elderly men, but most human studies generally don’t recommend its use as a T-booster.
Even so, we’ll accept its status as a “T Supporter” in this formula, but the BIGGEST benefit you’ll derive from Terrestris is its groovy libido powers, baby.
Horny Goat Weed Extract, 500 mg
The benefit of this herb is in the name: It makes goats horny.
And due to its testosterone mimicry properties, it also makes (human) men horny with additional therapeutic potential in managing symptoms of low T levels.
Thus, this qualifies as a T Supporter.
Yet, no human research indicates that it offers any significant T boosts, making it another sex-enhancing herb commonly utilized to create the illusion of a T-booster “working.”
Yohimbe Extract, 80 mg
Originally sold as a T-booster, Yohimbe Extract has since been associated with fat-burning when its metabolic benefits were shown to aid with weight loss more so than sex hormones.
Essentially, Yohimbe’s active constituent yohimbine works by increasing adrenaline levels & inhibiting certain regulatory pathways in fat cells. The stimulatory effect of adrenaline has been shown to have significant effect on sexual functioning in men, which is no surprise at this point with regards to this formula.
L-Arginine HCl, 40 mg
Similar to Yohimbine, L-Arginine is more effective at supporting sexual function than sex hormones. Through Nitric Oxide production, L-Arginine helps increase bloodflow throughout the body, creating “pumps” that delivery more oxygen, nutrients & bloods to various areas of the body.
Again, this explains L-Arginine’s use in sex-enhancing formulas, but it’s also a massively popular PWO ingredients, taken immediately before physical activity for its acute vasodilatory benefits.
Formula Analysis
Sort of a head-scratcher here.
We don’t want to outright call Piping Rock “deceitful,” but none of these ingredients are T-boosters (at least they don’t warrant the title Testosterone Max). These are the types of ingredients you’ll find in addition to the primary T-booster ingredients in a true male-enhancing formula.
If you check out our BIG LIST of T-Boosters, you’ll notice that 4 of the 5 ingredients here (Maca, Tribulus, Horny Goat Weed, L-Arginine) fall under our “Don’t boost T, but good for men’s health” category. Yohimbe misses the list only because it’s more associated with fat-burning than T-boosting. Otherwise, you can accurately sum up this formula with that statement:
Piping Rock Testosterone Max doesn’t boost T, but is good for men’s health.
Does that make it a bad formula?
Helllllll NO!
This is one of the most potent sex-enhancers we’ve seen and offers at least a decent amount of “T Support” in the way of male hormonal health. The only reason for the negative undertones of this review is because it’s reviewing this formula as a testosterone booster—which is fair considering that it calls itself Testosterone Max.
If you can get over the disappointment that Testosterone Max doesn’t max out your T (or even mildly boosts it), then you have yourself a worthy, affordable sex-enhancer that is good for men’s health.
Piping Rock Testosterone Max Benefits
Interestingly, Piping Rock makes no claims of its Testosterone Support Formula actually boosting T. Instead, the benefits advertised are:
- May help increase mood and energy level
- May increase body muscle mass and strength
Essentially the benefits of increased T expression–a valid claim considering the T supportive effects of Tribulus & Horny Goat Weed. For the most part, though, you should simply expect an increased libido & enhanced workout “pumps” if taken “60 to 90 minutes before activity” as the directions suggest.
Who Takes It?
Physically Active Men of All Ages. Because Piping Rock stays away from BIG-time boosters, it can be used by & benefited from a wide range of men. It goes without saying, though, that the benefits hinge on being physically active–otherwise, you’ll just have a lot of blood flowing with no place to go.
Any Side Effects?
Nope. However, we’d recommend against taking more than the suggested dosage, namely for the Yohimbe content. Due to its interaction with adrenaline, which is in a sense a stress hormone, overuse of Yohimbe has been associated with mood conditions relating to anxiety & irritation.
Exercise & “physical activity” should help counteract any negative effects of these ingredients.

Final Word on Piping Rock Testosterone Max
As its official name suggests, Piping Rock’s Testosterone Support Formula may support a primary T-boosting supplement, but it lacks the boosts & sports nutritional zest to stand on its own. Considering how cheap it is, this is actually a pretty reasonable “T support” design–especially when you take note the potency & power of the formula’s herbs. Our recommendation: Don’t go for Testosterone Max for the testosterone. Take it to naturally fuel your sexy-time mojo.

Best 5 Supplements says
That’s messed up, Bro! That’s why in our various Best 5 guides on how to buy good supplements, we always suggest that you should check out a company’s reputation before buying. After all, if they don’t care about their customers, then they probably don’t care about the quality of their products, either. Thanks for sharing.
