You ever wonder how gorillas get so big?
They eat their damn vegetables, BRO!
Gorillas, bison, rhinos, elephants, hippos—all beastly animals that are quote-unquote “vegetarians.” Yet, you still want to act like a punk ass kid at the dinner table tossing aside the asparagus for chicken nuggets.
We don’t want to “mama” you like this… but thanks to green supplements like Cell Block 80, we no longer have to.

About Cell Block 80
Clean Machine has only two products: Clean BCAA and Cell Block 80, the award-nominated “vegan” T-booster. With only two supplements under its belt, you’d think Clean Machine would have refined the hell out of its T-booster. No worries: They did. Formula notes:
- Vegan, Gluten-Free: These words have been abused to hell throughout the past decade. But Cell Block 80 does them justice here with its clean formula.
- Exclusive DM33®: You can’t find this Prickly Pear Extract anywhere else, and, depending on the research, it just might be the new “thing” for boosting T.
- Premium Ingredients: What Cell Block 80 lacks in size it more than makes up for in its highly potent herbal extracts.

Cell Block 80 hits hard for the Veggie BROS!
Don’t be fooled by the gluten-free, vegan design. Honestly, all that entails is a fresh capsule, which contains only hypromellose + cellulose here. Hell ya, we’ll take it—sure as shit beats the FD&C colored plastic found in most T-boosters.
Other than that, this formula has four (COUNT ‘EM, FOUR) ingredients. Let’s check them out:
DM33® Prickly Pear Extract, 85 mg
Fun fact: Cell Block 80 is the only formula to contain this branded extract of Prickly Pear.
(Wow, that is fun!)
And in addition to its huge list of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, etc. benefits, Prickly Pear might also boost T:
- The research referenced by Clean Machine claims Prickly Pear inhibits DHT conversion in prostate tissue by 80% and aromatase by 80% as well. What that means: Less DHT conversion theoretically equals more T, and less aromatase activity theoretically equals less estrogen and more
Sounds awesome, right, BRO? WRONG, BRO.
You know what’s more manlier than T? DHT. Granted, excess DHT is a serious issue for male health, but for most men we’re not sure we want to funk around with that hormone.
Yet, less aromatase action is awesome… Good job there, Prickly Pear.
High five: ( ‘-’)人(゚_゚ )
Sensoril® Ashwagandha, 125 mg
In terms of stress support, it doesn’t get much better than Ashwagandha—except for maybe Rhodiola… but, either way, including an adaptogenic herb in a T-booster is never a bad idea.
Cell Block 80 goes with the premium Sensoril® branded form, too, which was shown to significantly increase DHEA (T precursor) and decrease cortisol (stress hormone)—both of which promote anabolic T levels.
Additionally, Cell Block 80 provides a daily 250 mg of this stuff, which is the clinical dosage of standardized Ashwagandha. Hell ya, doods.
BRO-fist it: ( ‘-’)=mm=(゚_゚)
Stinging Nettle 12:1 Root Extract, 50 mg
Urtica dioica (a.k.a. Stinging Nettle) is one of those “conflicted research” herbs. Whether or not it actually boosts testosterone for humans remains unknown, but it does block “T-killing” SHBG and aromatase—theoretically sustaining healthy T levels.
Regardless, Stinging Nettle looks promising for prostate health, a concern for any manly mature (30+) gents reading this. And making up for its low 50 mg dosage is that high-potent 12:1 Extract. Good looking out, Clean Machine.
Boron (as Boron Citrate), 5 mg
Ranking at #5 on our BIG LIST of T-Boosters, Boron is second only to Zinc for the “manliest mineral” title. Research shows that taking 10 mg Boron for a week significantly increases active T levels, while reducing estradiol and SHBG action.
…what more do you need to know?
Formula Analysis
Do the stanky legg, BRO: This formula’s funkin’ fresh.
Overall, Cell Block 80’s formula is condensed & refined. The first impression that these dosages are weak is immediately remedied by the quality of these 4 ingredients—2 of them standardized, 1 heavily concentrated, and the last in its most absorbable form.
High quality botanicals seem to be a running theme with vegetarian designed formulas, and, admittedly, give such formulas a huge advantage over non-vegan products (even though almost every modern T-booster is quote-unquote “vegetarian”).
But what’s the plan behind the high quality botanicals in this formula? Cell Block 80 explains with their “5 Phases of Testosterone Production”:
- Increase T precursor DHEA
- Bind SHBG, increasing free T
- Block Estrogen
- Block DHT
- Reduce Cortisol
For the most part, these pathways seem to check out with this formula. And we have to give props to these manufacturers for going out on a limb with its exclusive DM33® Prickly Pear. It’s not the most well-researched T-booster and we’re not too thrilled on its anti-DHT action, but it could be a major X-Factor ingredient here.
Pioneers, baby—we dig it. Plus, the other 3 ingredients are BIG positives for BRO health, so why the hell not give it a try?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ eh, bro?
Cell Block 80 Benefits
Can your Testosterone Booster do this?
- Increase Free Testosterone AND
- Inhibit Negative Effects of Increased T
Admittedly, this isn’t so uncommon—all of the major T-booster stacks that are the BEST for TEST are considerate enough to inhibit the “negative effects” increased T while increasing T. But where Cell Block 80 excels is in how it manages these benefits with such a simple, refined list of ingredients.
We’d much rather have a few awesome ingredients than a loaded, weak formula.
The downside: Cell Block 80’s simplicity lacks the competitive edge of a sports-driven T-booster and the multiplied synergy of a mature (30+) male formula.
Even so, it delivers on its claims, and that’s more than what we can say for most T-boosters available.
Who Takes It?
Bodybuilding bros who favor vegan T-boosters (and other vegan supplements). If you’re not into the whole veggie thing, then no worries: Even meat+potato BROs can benefit from this formula.
Any Side Effects?
Nope. And we’d be very surprised if you have any while taking this, considering its small formula, well-tolerated ingredient forms, and vegan capsule. If anything, the prostate support from Stinging Nettle and Prickly Pear should aid long-term male health.
Turns out nature is wrong: Pokey shit is good for you!

Final Word on Cell Block 80
In 2013 & 2014, both of Clean Machine’s Cell Block 80 and Clean BCAA were Top 5 Finalists for Supply Side’s “Best Sports Nutrition Product of the Year.” But we’re not surprised: Cell Block 80 is one mean green T-booster. Sure, we can’t resist the burgers & bacon neither, but Clean Machine is here to remind you: EAT YOUR VEGGIES, BRO.
