If given the chance:
Do you choose racedriver skills?
Or immortality?
We know: What a boring cliché of a question. If there were an actual answer to it, then we wouldn’t be sitting here asking it. But we have to bring the question up again, because that’s what we’re dealing with here in the Andro400 vs. Ageless Male–the former sounding like its ready for the Indy 500 and the latter promising Gilgamesh levels of longevity.
But more important than the whole racecar/immortality debacle: Which formula is better at boosting testosterone?
Let’s find out:

Round 1: Formulas
There are formulas that have more ingredients than both of these formulas combined–sometimes 2 to 3 times as much… Are Andro400 & Ageless Male being lazy or efficient? Let’s ch-ch-check it out:
Andro400 is Eurycoma Longifolia.
And that’s all it is: Eurycoma Longifolia.
a.k.a. Tongkat Ali.
a.k.a. “Stick of Man.”
For those unfamiliar with this herb, it’s BIG-time sex-enhancer from Southeast Asia that (believe it or not) actually demonstrates decent T-boosting potential—in addition to moderate stress relief. Research suggests Tongkat Ali may benefit male health by:
- Decreasing stress hormone cortisol by 16%
- Increasing testosterone by 37%
- Reducing the cortisol:T ratio by 36%
Why the focus on cortisol in relation to T? Because the ratio between these two hormones can have major implications on the status of man’s A) ability to build muscle, and B) sexual health.
In other words, if Andro400 had only one hormone to choose from, they could have done much worse than Tongkat Ali. Yet, we’re not going to pretend that these T-boosts are among the BEST for TEST ranks—even when you factor in the Andro400 Max formula, which throws in additional N.O. boosting support with amino acids L-Arginine & L-Citrulline.
Andro400 is simply Eurycoma Longifolia… That’s it.
Ageless Male is ZMA + Fenugreek.
Compared to Andro400, Ageless Male has FOUR TIMES the ingredients!!
Which isn’t saying much when you’re multiplying 4 by 1… But it’s a step up—especially when one of those ingredients tops our BIG LIST of T-Boosters: Zinc. And it’s the form of that Zinc that’s really catching our attention here:
- Mixing with Magnesium & Vitamin B6, Zinc completes the ZMA trio that’s become a staple of athletic-enhancing sports nutritional supplements. Which Ageless Male seems to be, although it sells itself as a bona fide mature man’s supplement (which it’s definitely not).
Lending more evidence to Ageless Male’s status as a mid-range athletic-enhancing T-booster is its primary T-booster: Fenugreek—a notable T-booster, but an even notabler performance/sex-enhancer.
On the T-boosting side, Fenugreek seems to help by increasing “free” levels of T, instead of shooting for increases in TOTAL T-levels (via T-synthesis). This isn’t bad for the younger bodybuilding dood who’s trying to make the most of his naturally peaked T-levels, but it doesn’t do a whole for older men—except make them hornier ‘n hell.
Altogether, Ageless Male stacks itself up as a low-to-midrange T-booster with potential benefits for the young bucks, but at least it has more potential than Andro400’s one-ingredient formula.
Round 1… Ageless Male Wins.
Round 2: Dosages
Considering what these formulas are giving us (which isn’t a whole lot), we’d expect for them to at least give us enough of the little they’re containing. And, for the most part… meh, they do… kind of:
- Andro400’s Tongkat Ali serves a daily 300 mg dosage. That’s not bad, but not great—500 mg would be great.
- Ageless Male’s Fenugreek looks good. Its Zinc looks good. Its B6 looks decent. Its Magnesium looks… oh, it just looks ohful, Jerry!
As such, this is a difficult round to judge: Technically, Ageless Male more “good” dosages than Andro400, but it also technically has more “bad” dosages than Andro400. Yet, when you really get down to it, the “good” dosages are on the T-boosters that matter, whereas Andro400’s only T-booster needs improvement.
Round 2… Ageless Male Wins.
Round 3: Ingredient Quality
This round, more or less, runs the same as the previous round—except whereas Andro400 had a sub-par dosage for its Tongkat Ali, it serves it pretty potent-ass 100:1 extract of the herb, which is just *Italian chef finger kiss*.
Same goes for Ageless Male’s primary T-boosting herb, which is supplied here in a potent-ass branded TESTOFEN® form.
Aside from its Fenugreek, Ageless Male’s vitamins & minerals are all passable, ranging in average territories of bioavailability. But regardless of the quality of these ingredients, we’re just happy to see them here considering Andro400’s complete neglect of the Vs & Ms.
Due to this, we’ll just look at the T-boosting herbs of the formulas. And guess what: Both formulas’ herbs look fiiine.
Round 3… Tied.
Round 4: Price
Andro400 | VS. | Ageless Male
1 Bottle (30-day supply) | $34.95 | 1 Bottle (30-day supply) | $49.95
Price Per Capsule | $0.58 | Price Per Capsule | $0.83
Price Per Serving | $1.17 | Price Per Serving | $1.66 |
Round 4… Andro400.
Round 5: JUDGEMENT
The ironic part about Andro400’s only win in this review (Round 4) is that this product comes at a huge price to some unlucky users:
- According to a few complaining consumers, Andro400 seems to enroll buyers into “Auto-Ship” programs—often without the consent of the buyers. This is a classic scam tactic in the supplement industry that, for us at least, serves as a major RED flag regarding the credibility of a supplement’s manufacturers.
Granted, Andro400’s webpage offers the option of enrolling in the “Auto-Ship” program on the order page, but, even so, some have complained of this “option” being chosen for them—and, worse: Found the “option” difficult to exit.
While Ageless Male isn’t a hugely superior T-booster, it’s clearly the least shady of the two products here, which is more than enough for us to give it the ultimate win (but, let’s face it, you can do better than both of these formulas).
