Instant Knockout vs. Legion Phoenix is the supplement equivalent of a battle between rivals.
Both are known champions in their own right. In fact, IKO & LP are our #1 and #2-ranked best fat burner supplements overall.
Instant Knockout is the crowd favorite. He’s the champ and everyone knows he can beat the shit out of his foes with ease. He punches, punches connect, opponent falls down. He wins. Simple as that.
Legion Phoenix is the underdog, the dark horse, and the only one that rivals the current champ’s battle prowess. Unlike his rival, Legion Phoenix is a technical fighter. He aims for weaknesses, prefers scores over risky takedowns, and wins with barely a scratch on his face.
This time, the gloves are coming off as these two rivals face each other for one last time. This is going to be one close fight for sure.
Enough talk, time to separate the champ from the chump!

Round 1: Formulas
Both Instant Knockout and Legion Phoenix boast well-researched ingredients all in the name of burning fat but they differ in the way they approach this simple process.
Instant Knockout is all about punching fat HARD, right in its dumb fat-fatty face.
One of Instant Knockout’s strong points is the way it’s formulated. Green Tea Extract, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Cayenne, and Caffeine are four of our five best fat burners. That’s some hot shit they’re packing.
Pair those fat burners with appetite suppressants like Glucomannan and a great absorption booster like Standardized Black Pepper Extract and you know each serving pays respect to the supplement’s name and quirky bottle shape.
Legion Phoenix takes out fat from the bottom up.
When Legion Phoenix was formulated, the researchers made sure they pay homage to the mythical creature they named it after… but it’s not your typical fat burner. Its strategy involves “Holistic” fat burning.
Legion Phoenix starts out with a potent synephrine stack: Synephrine, Naringin, and Hesperidin. These three show incredible synergy in increasing energy cost of metabolizing food.
To further improve its formula design, Legion Phoenix added Hordenine, EGCG, and Salicin, ingredients capable of preventing improving the Synephrine stack by preventing adrenaline-killing enzymes and ephedrine-inhibiting prostaglandins from taking over.
Legion also includes nootropics L-Tyrosine, Forskolin, and 5-HTP not only for minimizing stress buildup during intense exercise but to also control hungry.
- L-Tyrosine is a GREAT brain-boosting nootropic, but N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is a much better form for balls-out mental domination.
In conclusion of the first round, both fat burners have smart formulations guaranteed to hack the fat off to reveal your hidden abs.
As great as they both are, we have to pick a winner, and this round goes to Instant Knockout.
Legion Phoenix has a brilliant fat burning strategy and is set to work marvelously if taken long term… but we want to burn fat now and Instant Knockout — with its stimulant approach and by not dicking around with anything but fat burners — simply works faster and better.
Round 1… Instant Knockout Wins.
Round 2: Dosages
Both supplements avoided Proprietary Blend Labeling and we commend them for that specially since real champs have nothing to hide and have everything to show off.
As far as dosages are concerned, it seems both supplements did their homework when it came to ample supply for each of their ingredients. If we’re to nitpick, it would be between Instant Knockout’s Green Tea Extract and Legion Phoenix’s EGCG, which is tea’s active fat-burning compound.
WE WANT EGCG. Instant Knockout didn’t standardize theirs so we have no clue just how much EGCG they have per serving. Legion Phoenix took an alternative to GTE and went with what we wanted: Isolated EGCG and a fat 400 mg dose of it.
Round 2… Legion Phoenix Wins.
Round 3: Ingredient Quality
Both supplements have great ingredients, but the right form makes an ingredient even better. Yep, we’re talking standardizations and bioavailability.
We look into their best ingredients: Instant Knockout has standardized Black Pepper Extract which is meant to boost absorption of just about every ingredient in a given supplement. Legion Phoenix has isolated EGCG which is the active fat-burning compound in Green Tea Extract, our #1 fat burner.
There’s not much to complain about, but we will say Legion Phoenix’s use of plain L-Tyrosine is a drawback, enough for Instant Knockout to get the win this round.
Round 3… Instant Knockout Wins.
Round 4: Price
Instant Knockout | VS. | Legion Phoenix
1 Bottle (30-day supply) | $59 | 1 Bottle (30-day supply) | $34.95
Price Per Capsule | $0.49 | Price Per Capsule | $0.29
Price Per Serving | $1.96 | Price Per Serving | $1.16 |
Round 4… Legion Phoenix Wins.
Round 5: JUDGEMENT
It’s 2-2 and the battle has reached its climax. It’s one or the other but we know both of them are great supplements in their own right so they both deserve an applause regardless of ends up victorious.
To cut it short, the thing about these two superstars is they’re both awesome. They’re both smart, potent, and scares the shit out of fat. And the ratings speak of how close this match was:
- We’re talking 4.8 (Instant Knockout) vs. 4.5 (Legion Phoenix) out of 5 stars.
That’s a close fight between two of our Best5 Fat Burners.
The real difference would have to come from how you choose to feel the burn.
Instant Knockout makes use of caffeine and plenty of it so you can expect the jitters if you’re not careful. Legion Phoenix has no caffeine so it’s a guaranteed “clean” feel as any stimulation would be minimal if it will only come from Synephrine.
Both can work wonders but we have to look at the big picture and if we want to shred fat like there’s no tomorrow we have to man up and feel the heat. When it comes to heat, Instant Knockout gives us all the fire we need. The jitters and crashes are temporary, bro.
In Instant Knockout vs. Legion Phoenix, the winner by a SPLIT Decision is…
